Strictly speaking, Genesis does not say that Adam and Eve were born. It says that God made Adam out of the dust of the ground. Because Adam needed company, God made Eve out of Adam's rib, while he slept.

Is Eve Adam's first wife?

Not really. Eve was the first woman in Hebrew mythology, which was then included in the Hebrew Bible. In the same way, other religions have their own 'first woman'. The real first woman is unknown, but she lived hundreds of thousands of years ago.

How does the fall of Adam and Eve parallel the fall of Satan and his followers?

The parallel between the New Testament temptation of Jesus and the Old Testament temptation of Adam and Eve is found in the person of the tempter, the Devil. In the New Testament, the Devil appears in his real form as Satan. He offers Jesus earthly powers. In the Old Testament, the Devil appears in the assumed form of his familiar, the sinister serpent. The slithering snake offers bogus divine powers to Adam and Eve.

Who was Eve in the Bible?

The Bible only mentions ONE Eve.(1 Timothy 2:13)

**"God had a deep sleep fall upon the man and, while he was sleeping, he took one of his ribs and then closed up the flesh over its place....and God proceeded to build the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman and to bring her to the man....(Genesis 2:21,22+24) and she became his 'helper'(Genesis 2:18)

**"...After this Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she had to become the mother of everyoneliving..."(Genesis 3:20)

**This Eve was the mother of Cain, Abel and Seth(Genesis 4:1,2,25)and many 'sons and daughters' (Genesis 5:4 / (Genesis 2:24)

Why is there is no mention of Adam's first wife Lilith in the Bible?

Lilith is not mentioned because she was not existent. It arose from a mistaken understanding of Genesis 1 and 2. They refer only to one creation event - in Genesis 1 it is an overview, while Genesis 2 focuses on the creation of man. Adam had only one wife, whose name was Eve - same one in both chapters.

How many Children did Adam and Eve have and their name?

In the BOOK OF GENESIS, it is stated that Adam And Eve had 3 children which are named as below: 1.Cain: Genesis 4:1 2.Abel: Genesis 4:2 3.Seth:Genesis 4:25 It is also stated that Adam had 'sons and daughters' (Genesis 5:4). We are not provided with their names.

How did Satan beguile eve?

Did the Devil Tempt Eve?

The instant answer is Yes he did.

However one needs to understand how and why

Understand who the Devil is

Revelation 12

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Understand the Tempting of Eve

Genesis 3

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Genesis 2 (what our Father actually stated)

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

See how the Serpent (the Devil) deceives people…. Yes our Father made the statement of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: However he added a caveat to that statement

Eve's response to the Serpent (The Devil):

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Now did Eve repeat what our Father told her?

Here is the deception via temptation from the Serpent (the Devil)

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Eve reacts to the deception of the Serpent (the Devil)

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,

and that it was pleasant to the eyes,

and a tree to be desired to make one wise,

she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened,

and they knew that they were naked;

and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Our Father finds out what occurred (Remember his commandment…)

9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

What is learned?

You must know by now the subject of fruit and trees is a metaphor, as the fruit of a tree (many falsely calling it an apple) is not going to, be pleasant to the eyes. make one wise, make one as gods knowing good and evil, and make one cover their private parts with fig leaves. Neither would partaking in it be cause for death.

Here is the key…. Adam (ethhaadam) is not the first man created as many falsely claim

The 6 days of Creation and the 7th day of rest

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Note that verse 3 ends with a period closing the subject of the first 7 days. Then things continue with the next day (8th)

How long is a Day?

2nd Peter 3

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Therefore that first 7 days (the first week) was 7000 years in length, not 7 (24 hour) periods as some incorrectly assume.

On the 8th day (1st day of the 2nd week)

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew:

for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Did you Get that? There was:

No Rain

No Man to till the soil (farmer)

There were people who had been upon this earth for nearly 2000 years at this point, but no man to till the soil and no rain to water a garden.

Our Father forms Adam (on the 8th day)

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

  • The word translated man is Adam, more specifically it includes the article and particle therefore its eth-ha-adam (this specific man).
  • eth-ha-adam (this specific person of this description)
  • ha-adam (this specific group of people of this description)
  • adam (all people of this description)

This is very important to note as the word Adam is printed without the article and particle in many places, which makes things confusing.

Our Father was creating an unbroken chain of people, a specific people, from whom Christ would come in the flesh. Evidence?

Noah: Genesis 6

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Abraham part of the unbroken chain

Genesis 17

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Isaac continues the seed line

18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Luke 2 (Jesus continues the Covenant)

21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

The Peculiar People/Treasure ….

Exodus 19:5 ..Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Deuteronomy 14:2 ..For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 26:18 ..And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

Psalms 135:4 ..For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

Titus 2:14 ..Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1 Peter 2:9 ..But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

The seed line present in Christ

Luke 1 (Aaron of the tribe of Levi one of the Tribes of Israel)

5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

What about Mary? (she was cousin to Elisabeth of the daughters of Aaron)

36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

The Serpent (the Devil) and his fallen angels

He wanted to destroy that people from whom Christ would come, or at least make their claim of purity false.

6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Summary:

Does it make more sense now why the Serpent (Devil or Satan) attacked Eve and not women created on the 6th day? He was trying to break up the seed line, the generations, that peculiar people, which would connect from Adam (eth-ha-adam) to Christ.

The Serpent (Devil or Satan) was attempting to destroy our Fathers plan of the peculiar people whom he had formed for his purpose. Since Eve was of those people. the Serpent attacked her first.

Here is the kicker,

Cain is not Adams son… Let me state that once more …. Cain is not Adams son.

You will not find Cain written in the genealogy of Adam. The genealogy of Adam is written in Genesis 5. You will find the historical genealogy of Adam and Abraham written in Matthew 1, which does not include Cain either.

Christ will make this very clear in John 8 concerning the sons of Cain.

A woman can be pregnant by two different men at the same time

Superfecundation twins: When a woman has intercourse with two different men in a short period of time while ovulating, it's possible for both men to impregnate her separately.

…also called heteropaternal superfecundation.

The other takeaway

From the 8th day when Adam (eth-ha-adam) was formed, we have come foreword about 6 days (6000 years), this means we are on the verge of another 1000 years of rest (7th day). This earth iteration has purposed upon it two weeks total of days lasting 1000 years each (14000 years). We are currently upon the 6th day of the second week. Christ was cut off in the middle of that second week (just as it is written).

The final generation foretold by Christ (Matthew 24 and Mark 13) started in 1948 (Jeremiah 24), generation of the fig. Biblical generations have 3 lengths in time .. 70 or 80 yrs (Psalms 90) or 120 (Genesis 6) … I will leave it to you to do the math. Remember the generations are not absolute times, they are simply mile markers for which we must watch for the foretold prophecies to occur.

How man children did Adam and Eve have?

The sons had to marry their sisters. Adam and Eve were the only 2 people on the earth.

Who was born after Adam and Eve?

No, Cain was the first born of Adam and Eve. People were around for tens of thousands of years before Adam and Eve. Its hard to answer this question but im guessing it was Cain who knows if people were born before them?

How Adam and Eve evade their responsibility?

they didn't adam and eve were responsible for the care of the earth they lived on and the care for their children. humans are the offspring of adam and eve and have the same responsibilities.

How did Cain become evil if Adam came from God and Eve came from Adam?

Because God gave us free will. Meaning that if we can decide to do as we we want. If we are tempted by the devil and we choose to go that way that is our choice. We are all individuals no matter where we came from and can make our own choices on who we choose to be

Because of free will. God is love and He gave us free will to choose right from wrong. Cain choose wrong.

Caine killed his brother because he was jealous (First to spill human blood). Able had Gods favour upon him for giving a lamb as an offering, and was seen to be a righteous man, causing the jealousy of his brother.

I don't agree with answer A because 1st john 3:9 says whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin for his seed remaineth in him and he cannot sin because he's born of God. (I'm alone on my thought so please use your own mind and read the scripture and then you decide): I think God and LORD God are not the same creater because God in chapter 1 made Man/woman on day 6 where as LORD God made man on day 5 (maybe 4) and I know this because in Genesis 1 Fowl is made on day 5 and at that point man/woman were not created yet but in chapter 2 man is made before fowl ,therefore if they are the same creater then the scripture is all a lie. I believe the scripture is true but LORD God is the evil one and you can see in Genesis 4:1 Eve says she got a child from the LORD (also notice that LORD is all capitol letters)(but in the new testament the Lord Jesus is always spelled this way(Lord) LORD =Y.H.W.H. Lord=Adonai & God = Elohim

In John 8:44 Jesus says ye are of your father the Devil and the people said Abraham was their father. LORD God is the God of Abraham. Also in mark 12:26-27 Jesus says: The God that spoke to Moses is not the God of the Dead but the God of the living. (this tells me that there is more then 1 God) The Most High God is Elohim because Gen 1:1,2 shows us that there was nothing but his spirit and the earth was void and without form.

Also after Cain kills Abel the LORD God puts a mark on Cains forehead because Cain is afraid they will kill him, Who is gonna kill him ? he was leaving Adam and Eve and according to the scripture they were the first so again who was gonna kill him?

The LORD God is jealous, if he was the most high why would he be jealous? Again DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!! Read the scripture and pray to the most high God for Knowlege. God Bless

Was Eve present when God told Adam not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge?

There are several possible explanations which both lead to the same result. The obvious conclusion is that Eve knew of God's instruction not to eat of the tree. She repeated almost word for word (see Genesis 3:2-3) the instruction which God had given in the previous chapter. (2:16-17). So Eve certainly knew it, the question is how.

One possible explanation is to realize that the account of the creation of man in Genesis 2:4 onwards is not necessarily chronological. Eve may have been present when the instruction was given to Adam.

The other way would be to understand that Adam told Eve what God had said. Anyway, God was in charge of the events and He would not let Eve remain unaware of the instruction critical to His plan.

What is the Eve of Destruction?

In the 1960's and the 1970's protest songs were the rage in the United States. Eve of Destruction is a protest song written in 1965 that references several controversial issues. The Vietnam War, civil rights, and the voting age are some of the subjects mentioned in the lyrics.

Did god create Adam and Eve before the dinasaurs?

The bible story of the creation does not explain the evidence for how the world and life formed as discovered by science.
Belief in in the existence of God is a matter of faith, not science, science can neither prove or disprove the existence of God.
If you believe in God then perhaps the story told by Genesis is more a message about man's relationship with the creator than a real explanation of how the world was made.

Who was the son that replaced abel?

The son that Adam and Eve had other than Abel was Cain, and Cain did not "replace" Abel, he merely killed his own brother out of jealousy of the love of the Lord.

Who did Adam and Eve's offspring procreate with?

Since, according to the Bible, the only people on earth at that time were descendants of Adam and Eve, the offspring would have procreated with each other. Mankind was created perfect initially, so there would have been no genetic defects. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, however, sin became part of human life. Even so, since man was much closer to perfection back then, the genetic problems that would occur today if close relatives married, would NOT have been a problem back then. Marriage between close relatives was not prohibited by God until he instituted the Mosaic Law in 1513BCE (Leviticus 18:9, 17,24)

How many ribs did Adam have?

The book of Genesis doesn't indicate how many ribs Adam started out with. It even doesn't say which side of the rib cage supplied God with the means for creating Eve. The only thing that's known for sure from the Biblical account is that Adam ended up with one rib less than he started out with, and that the missing rib went into making Eve.
