Where in the Bible say that man should rule the earth?
(Genesis 3:1-6 NASB) "... Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.'" The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die! "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate."
The 'Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad' was a symbol of God's rulership. It stood for HIS right to make the rules and set the standards.
Obediently NOT eating from it, as God commanded, was a sign of human submission to God's rulership(Genesis 2:16 + 17)(Jeremiah 10:23) and showed appreciation for God's guidance.
When Adam and Eve disobediently took that fruit, they CHOSE to reject God's rulership, and under Satan's influence, CHOSE to 'rule themselves', deciding for themselves what was 'good and bad'. (Romans 5:12) Satan lied, and contradicted what God had said to Adam and implied that Adam and Eve would not need God in order to decide what was good and what was bad for them. (John 8:44)
Another (similar) viewpoint:
God made the earth to sustain man, and He gave man rule over the earth:
"...God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth... replenish the earth, and subdue it..." (Gen.1:28).
Responsibility goes hand-in-hand with such power and authority, however. Therefore: "...the Lord God COMMANDED THE MAN..." (Gen.2:16)... regarding his conduct and responsibility in that rulership capacity.
It's presented in the Bible as a "parable"... of "trees" that bear "fruits of good and evil"... and a "Tree of Life."
This "tree" or "vine" and "fruit" analogy is carried through the Bible in the parables of Christ.
"...BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, of figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit... Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN." (Matt.7:15-21)
Jesus refers to each of us as a "branch" of a "tree"... of which He is the "Root" (the foundation) from which flows Life and sustenance for bearing "good fruit" or "good works"... decent and honorable behavior that is reflected in the KEEPING OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
While there may or may not have been an actual "tree" or "trees" involved in the Garden of Eden account for the sake of demonstration... the bottom line is that God COMMANDED the man in the beginning regarding His laws... His guidelines for man's conduct and behavior.
Adam and Eve "SINNED."
And the only definition of "sin" in the Bible is: "...Sin is the transgression of the law." (I John 3:4)
Paul says: "...sin is not imputed when there is no law." (Rom.5:13)
Therefore... the laws of God were given to the first man and woman... in spite of what men may teach... and they were informed by God of their responsibilities regarding how to conduct themselves, decently and "within the law."
Then... ENTER the "Serpent"... the false prophet... the "ravening wolf in sheep's clothing" who sowed the seeds of "evil fruit" in the hearts and minds of the inexperienced. He sowed the seeds of "doubt" about the trustworthiness" of their Creator:
"...For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Gen.3:5)
He planted the suspicion that God was withholding vital information from them. God was keeping them in the dark about many things. They were His slaves, bound in ignorance of the truth.
And in that little way Satan has... he was telling them "half-truths"... which means "lies"... deception.
The perfection of God cannot teach the lessons of the pain, suffering and misery that are the fruits of "sin" and "disobedience" to His laws. That's Satan's job... the original sinner.
"...ye are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and THE FATHER OF IT." (John 8:44)
Satan didn't say that man could rule himself. He says that man can rule himself... WITHOUT GOD!
And that just isn't True. Nearly 6000 years of man's pain, suffering and misery is teaching him this vital lesson through this evil world that he has created for himself under the ministrations of his "chosen god," Satan the Devil. A lesson that will serve him well on into Eternity - if he makes the correct choice in the end of the lessons: to choose "good fruit" and reject "evil fruit."
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, THAT BOTH THOU AND THY SEED MAY LIVE: that thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy Life, and the length of thy days..." (Deut.30:19-20).
Satan is the master liar... and, unknown to ignorant and deceived man, is teaching man that he cannot govern himself apart from God. It's a lesson that will carry mankind to the brink of annihilation before Jesus Christ takes a hand and returns to earth in time to stop the lesson's inevitable outcome - the same results as it was in the beginning when Satan first "sinned" and rebelled against God's laws - an earth "without form and void."
By Satan's fruits we may know him.

Why did Adam and Eve Hawa eat apple?
Adam and eve were admitted to Paradise and there they lived the dream of all human beings.God permitted them to approach and enjoy everything except one tree, that might have been the Tree of Pain or the Tree of Knowledge. God forbade them they were give abode in Paradise. "But come not near this tree or you both will be of the wrong doers." (2:35) Adam and Eve understood that they were forbidden to eat the fruit of that tree. Adam was however a human being and man tends to forget. His heart changes and his will weakens. Iblis summoned all the envy within him and took advantage of Adam's humanity to exploit him. He started to whisper to him day after day, coaxing him: "Shall I guide you to the Tree of Immortality and the Eternal Kingdom?" He said to them: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals." He (Satan) swore by God to them both saying: "Verily I am one of the sincere well wishers for you both." (7:20-21) Adam asked himself: "What will happen if I eat from this tree? It might truly be the Tree of Immortality." His dream was to live forever in the pure innocence of Paradise." Years went by, and Adam and Eve were preoccupied with thoughts of that tree. Then one day they decided to eat of its fruit. They forgot that Allah had warned them not to approach it and that Iblis was their sworn enemy. Adam stretched out his hand, picked one of the fruits and offered it to Eve. They both ate of the forbidden tree. Allah Almighty told us: "So he (Satan) misled them with deception." (Ch 7:22) Allah said: "Thus did Adam disobey his Lord so he went astray." (20:121). Adam had hardly finished eating when he felt his heart contract, and he as filled with pain, sadness and shame. The surrounding atmosphere had changed and the internal music had stopped. He discovered that he and his wife were naked, so they both started cutting tree leaves with which to cover themselves. Allah the Almighty addressed him: "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily Satan is an open enemy unto you?" They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." Allah said; "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other (Adam, Eve, and Satan etc). On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment, for a time." He said: "Therein you shall live and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (resurrected)." (7:22-25). Al Hafez Ibn Asaker narrated that Allah commanded two angels to remove Adam from His holy proximity. So Gabriel stripped him of the crown on his head, and Michael took the diadem from his forehead. So Adam walked (or run) away, and on his way a tree catched him by his forehead. So Allah asked: "are you running away from me?" Adam thought that his punishment had been hastened and bowed down crying; "Forgiveness! Forgiveness!" so Allah asked: "Are you running away from Me?" Adam replied, "No, my Lord, but I am shy of You (because of what I did)." O Children of Adam! Let not Satan deceive you, as he got your parents (Adam and Eve) out of Paradise stripping them of their rainments; to show them their private parts. Verily he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. .. (Ch 7:27)
Did the Ice Age come before Adam and Eve?
Yes, the Ice Age is thought to have come before the lifetimes of the Biblical Adam and Eve. The Ice Age may be dated to about 12,000 B.C.E.-8,000 B.C.E. There are varying dates offered for when Adam and Eve flourished. But for the sake of the answer to this question, let's consider the famous dating by James Us[s]her [January 4, 1581-March 21, 1656]. Us[s]her pinpointed God's act of Creation as taking place the night before October 23, 4004 B.C.E. That puts Adam and Eve well out of danger from the beginning, middle, and ending of the Ice Age.
God didn't want Adam and Eve to eat from the tree, but He wanted to give them the freedom to choose. It is much like today, where we have the freedom to make good and bad choices. We are free to choose whichever we please, but there are consequences for each choice, and God wants us to choose the right one.
What year did the garden of eden take place?
When the garden of Eden was first built at the very beginning and at that time there was no time or no calendars for matter. So its very, very difficult to tell when the garden of Eden was created.
Additional Answer:
Scripture only states that God put the man in a garden to the East (Genesis 2:8). However, a famous Archbishop James Ussher, from Armagh, Ireland, writing in the 17th Century had calculated the beginning of man from the genealogies given in Genesis. He calculated that Adam was created in 4004 BC. Therefore, the Garden of Eden was created sometime relatively soon after this.

Did Adam and Eve have a childhood?
No. Though the Bible does not say at what physical level Adam appeared, it DOES call Adam a 'man' from the beginning (Genesis 2:7). Shortly after he was 'formed from the dust', this 'man' was settled in the Garden of Eden 'to cultivate and care for it', and asked to name all the animals, so he was physically and mentally mature enough to handle this type of responsibility on his own (Genesis 2:15+19). Shortly thereafter, God revealed to him the one existing rule in the garden, trusting him to be capable of understanding and upholding it, eventually passing it on as need be, so he was emotionally mature as well(Genesis 2:16+17). It's also noteworthy that Eve was, infact, created as an adult, at a stage where she could immediately be a wife(Genesis 2:22), and become the mother of everyone living'(Genesis 3:20)(Acts 17:26), so she also, was never a child in the physical sense of things. Though both were created fully grown, and were never 'children' in the physical sense, they had the hope of everlasting life where they could (like any child) explore, learn, create, expand, mature and grow as experience was gained.(Genesis 1:28 / 2:17)

Was Adam at eve's side when she ate the fruit?
One thought:
No. According to the Bible, Adam wasn't with Eve when the serpent tempted her. Satan, approaching Eve as a talking snake (Revelation 12:9), took advantage of her relative lack of experience(1 Timothy 2:14).
(Genesis 3:1-6) . . .He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"
"You will not certainly die," the serpent said tothe woman. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil...."(NIV). Later on, apparently, SHE gave the fruit to her husband when they were together.
Another answer is:
It wasn't Satan-it was a snake.
You might think that is picking holes, but many stories and 'histories' in Genesis derive from Babylonia, and the Babylonians didn't believe in Satan.
according to some Islamic narrations the Israfil was the first angel who genuflect to Adam.

The story also has a Tree of Life in the Garden, and by eating its fruit, Adam and Eve would become immortal. In Genesis 3:24, God drove out the man and placed at the entrance to the Garden of Eden, cherubim and a flaming sword to keep [block] the way of the Tree of Life. In the Genesis story, Adam and Eve were sent from the Garden and could not be allowed back for fear they would eat of the second tree.
How many years did Adam and Eve live together as husband and wife?
Genesis 5:5 says that Adam lived 930 years.
