Infants are not allowed to fly under the age of 8-10 days depending on stateside or internationally. I flew stateside with my 5week old and he slept the entire flight of 4hrs. :) More input from FAQ Farmers: * I don't believe there is any minimum age. But you can call any airline to be sure. Most international flights will not let an infant younger than two days old fly.

yes, as long as there is no metal you can probably get past security with it in your pocket, but it is advised that you put it through the x-ray, i am not sure that the rays will damage the contacts but you should give the to the security so they don't have to go through. they Will check it and give it to you so you can go on your way. as far as the planes go, the pressure will do nothing to the contacts, so just worry about getting them on the plane
