well where I live in Canada if a airsoft/co2 BB gun goes over 500fps you must register it as a lethal weapon so I assume it is 500fps for you too.

What to do

How to use a gas gun: Remove the magazine from the pistol by pushing on the magazine release. With the magazine removed: Fill the magazine, with the magazine below the gas canister As illustrated:
Make sure the can is ALSO upside down. Make sure they are both perfectly in line and completely vertical. Do not tilt sideways at all or angle the green gas canister and the gun magazine. Make sure the nozzles get a firm seal, and proceed to fill the "Liquid" into the mag by pressing firmly down with the airsoft gas canister. Filling time depends on the mag capacity. A normal handgun mag is generally about 3 seconds. A 50-round mag is usually about 5-6 seconds. This will insure you get a full charge of gas, for the amount of BBs.

After loading the green gas into the magazine, load the BB's. Simply pull down on the magazine follower and insert BB's as illustrated below Next, simply reinsert the magazine into the gun. After the gas has been loaded, magazine has been loaded with BBs, simply cock the gun as shown below and you're set to go:




What NOT TO DO when filling the mag:
If you fill the mag, and gas begins to spill, STOP. Let the magazine warm up at room temperature before attempting again. This is usually about 5-6 minutes. If you are able to form a tight seal and fill correctly, allow the magazine to warm to room temperature. Tapping the big metal button on the top, rear side of the mag will discharge the GAS from the gun magazine. Do NOT do this! It will prematurely wear out the seals and also cause the O-rings to freeze, damaging them permanently. Instead, fire the gun until out of gas. This is the safe way to discharge a gas-gun.

Fire the gun in WARM weather. Using during the cold seasons are not advised. They will not cycle completely, fire well, and will use more gas than normal. Rapid-firing of the gas-gun will also cause the gun to freeze up, resulting in damage to the magazine or gun. These problems are not as prone during the hotter seasons or warmer weather.

Use HIGH grade BBs for your guns. Lower quality BBs will tend to jam in the magazine well, preventing proper firing. Marui, Excel, Airsoft Elite, or AirSplat BBs are are highly recommended. These are all models which we carry, Airsoft BB. Using .12 is not advised for higher end airsoft guns, such as electric or gas will VOID THE WARRANTY and may cause permanent damage.

Gas-gun care: Be sure to keep your slide and all moving parts lubricated with SILICONE oil which can be purchased on our website or at your local hardware store. Do not use anything else, such as petroleum based lubricants. ONLY 100% pure silicone oil is required. Other lubricants are not safe for use on plastic and rubber parts.
Do not use Hoppes #9, WD-40, and other petroleum based lubricants will damage the guns permanently.

Be sure to also spray silicone oil into the top nozzle of the magazine well every 5-6 magazines uses. This is done, by pressing the top release valve on the the mag while putting a quick spray of silicone into the top rubber exhaust valve. This will keep the seals and O-Rings properly lubed for a lifetime of use. For more details illustrations on how to maintain your gun, please refer to our Maintenance Guide.

Recommended gases for gas airsoft guns:

KWC: use HFC 22 or Green Gas only for these guns. Use with Red Gas will void the warranty

KSC/KWA: use HFC134a gas unless equipped with a metal slide. If equipped with metal slide upgrade use HFC 22 or Green Gas. Use with Red Gas will void warranty.

Western Arms: HFC 134a gas is recommended. Use with any other gases (such as HFC22 or Green Gas) with void warranty.

KJW, Y&P, STTI, HFC, other Taiwanese guns: HFC22 or Green Gas is recommended. Using HFC134a is not powerful enough. Use with Red Gas will void warranty.

Maruzen, Marui: HFC 134a gas is recommended<. Use with any other gases (such as HFC22 or Green Gas) with void warranty.

Marushin: HFC 134a gas is recommended. Use with any other gases (such as HFC22 or Green Gas) with void warranty.

Tanaka: HFC 134a gas is recommended. Use with any other gases (such as HFC22 or Green Gas) with void warranty.

Storing your gas-gun magazines: After usage please leave or insert a small amount of the appropriate gas, enough for 2 - 3 shots is recommended. Do not keep them in storage while fully charged or completely empty. This will allow the O-Rings of the magazine properly lubricated while in storage.

First you must take into account the laws of the country you are passing into, if they are illegal there than you can't take it over. As for getting through customs with an Airsoft gun, you must notify customs that you have a replica gun. Google it to find out more.

There is only one way to be seriously hurt with an airsoft gun, and that is to be shot directly in the eye. As long as you wear a face mask, the worst you can get is a welt or at close ranges you could bleed a bit, but you won't ever get hurt badly unless you do something stupid.

You can play airsoft at a local airsoft store if it has a field and you are alloud to play, but my recomendation is to just play airsoft in some woods, any kind of woods, as long as it doesn't break the laws.lol

You shoot people.

You must pry off the slide with a knife or some other object, ( pry from the back of the slide). Then there will be a silver pin you

must pop out,( its very easy to push out). Next unscrew the safety on the right side of the gun. Lift up from the barrel and its open.

Spring guns require you to cock for every shot, they usually are cheaper(unless it it a high quality bolt action), they can be more durable than AEG's. An electric AEG will be able to fire full auto and usually has a higher cap mag. Also, AEGs usually have metal gearboxes called MPEG airsoft guns. Lower quality AEGs with plastic gearboxes called LPEGs are lower quality and break easier as well as having lower fps and other performance. I have had an LPEG and the mag misfed, and it tore up the internals. With my new gun linked below i have had no problems, the only upgrade i have used is a 600 rd hi cap mag. My gun chronoed at 496 fps right out of the box with a .28 bb. With standard .2 bbs ive clocked over 500 fps and hit targets in 1 inch groups from 400 feet without a scope.

Spring guns are mostly pistols, although i use a Mauser co2 pistol now.

yes they can i have had many hits from airsoft guns that have broken skin but they where from arenas and shot from higher FPS guns but normally they don't.

A systema PTW with the highest power cylinder has 700 fps, and a highly modded sniper can have higher than 800 fps so yes, there is a such thing as a 750 fps gun, but it would probably cost you about 2,000 and a lot of time to install all the mods necessary. (I'm guessing you would start with the most powerful gas sniper you can find, put the longest, tightest bore barrel you can find in it, replace all the gas parts with extremely strong parts that allow for high flow, and possibly use CO2 instead of green gas for higher pressure)

The Wards Western Field model 5 is the same as the (Sears) JC Higgins model 85, both of which are the MAPF (La Manufacture d'Armes des Pyrénées Françaises, later Manufacture des Pyrénées - Hendaye) Unique model D2, also known as Le Corsair, which entered production in the mid-1950s. The model D came in varying barrel lengths and were named D1 through D6, depending on barrel length. Unique went out of business about 2005.

This will cause problems, since it looks like a firearm. Indiana has a concealed carry law for firearms. The state statute does not specifically address such weapons. However, most municipalities have their own ordinances concerning such issues and the best option would be to contact the local police department for accurate information. That might cause problems but according to Federal law airsoft guns are catagorized as toys with the only thing being that they carry a quarter-inch orange blaze at the end of the barrel so law enforcement can tell the difference. The only legal exception to this rule is if the airsoft gun is to be used in the production of a film then you can take off the blaze. As a result, many airsoft teams will produce short promotional or exhibition films toshow good reason for removing the blaze. An example of such an incident happened recently on Hilton Head Island, SC. Two teens who were preparing to film a project for school using several airsoft guns when one realized that he had forgotten something at home. Very much so. Airsoft pellets leave large welts through clothing and have been known to break the skin in close proximity. They are just as or even more painful than paintballs. Airsoft is not a game or people who don't mind being hurt.

A bb gun pretty much works the same way as a spring airsoft gun. But the differences come in the activities of how they are used. A bb gun is used for target practice, but ever since bb guns have been created, people have been using them for fighting, like in a paintball or airsoft fight. Of course this lead to alot of injuries, (Just like in A Christmas Story). Airsoft is a whole lot different. I play it and I know alot about it. First of all airsoft is more intended for battles, like in paintball. Second of all, they shoot plastic bb's instead of metal ones, therefore having less chance of injury. Also most airsoft guns are replicated off real guns like AK-47's, M4's, Desert Eagles, MP5's, and much much more. And if played responsibly it can be a very exciting and fun activity. I started out having just backyard airsoft fights with local neighborhood friends. And now im playing professionaly at battle re-enactments, and batles. Those are the some of the differences between airsoft and bb guns.

These questions pop up alot, and the truth is tehre are arguements, but I would go for one of the new ones from the Hicapa series. They cost $90ish in the US and $200plus in Canada.

Don't get a plastic one, it will be bad for sure.

If you are a fan of single shot guns, go with the Crosman Stinger Carbine Pump Shotgun, If you prefer fully automatic, go with a Crosman Dual Power Mini SMG. These are very reliable guns and can get you a good amount of wins in a war. The Dual Power Mini somewhat stings, so make sure you have it on safety when not in use.
