Is it okay for an airsoft gun to not have an orange tip if it is two toned?
so cops know its not a real gun.
and dont shoot you
However, it should be noted that, with the availability of multi-coloured finished for firearms such as Duracoat, Cerakote, and Gun-Kote, the presence of orange on a firearm will no longer mean that it is automatically treated like it isn't a real firearm, and law enforcement officers will err on the side of caution when they see one, and presume it to be an actual firearm until they themselves verify otherwise.
How do you make an airsoft mine?
you will need and Easter egg, firecracker, small drill, and tape
take the Easter egg
drill a small hole in the top to wire a fuse through it
fill it with bbs but don't clse it yet
place the fire cracker in the center and feed the fuse through the hole
tape the egg shut
light the fuse, throw, and pray it doesnt blow up in your hand
How fast do spring airsoft guns fire?
well depends on which type you have,
for example a most common airsoft gun is aeg airsoft electric rifle and those use a spring powered by a battery and depend on the spring and can go from 200fps(feet per second) to 400fps (with top companies)(professional)
Next are spring gun that you must manually cock(yes i said it) and those guns are mostcommonly and gun from a pistol to shotgun to a normal rifle and go less with fps from 100 to 500+(only snipers with bolt or gas actionb go that high and cost more)
and finally theres gas guns also and type of gun and use green gas, propane with an adapter co2 canister and red gas(im not that expirenced with gas but i know from my friends) and they go about 200fps to 500 fps
hope it helped thanks!1!!!!
There is a huge range, but the average AEG is about 330-430 fps, the average gas pistol is about 290-350 fps, the average CO2 pistol is about 300-400fps, the average sniper rifle is about 400-600 fps. Then there are the extremes, such as Tokyo Marui, which makes very weak but high quality guns shooting from around 250-350 fps, and guns that have stronger springs which get up to 700 fps.
How many people are killed each year by airsoft accidents?
I am not aware of many incidents resulting in death. The most danger one has in most airsoft arenas is breaking something. When running and jump and hiding it is known for some people to trip and break a limb. A few people have been hit in the teeth with a bb. being hit in the eyes, though not common, can happen. Death may only result if someone is trips and hits their head on concrete or something of that manor. Everyone under the age of 18 MUST wear full seal eyegoggles to protect their eyes. this means that no bb's can enter the goggles.
Airsoft guns were invented in Japan during the early 1980s. In Japan, is it illegal for anyone other the military personnel to own a real firearm. This law gave birth to airsoft guns, guns that look extremely realistic, but fire 6mm plastic, paint or steel-coated BBs instead of real ammunition. The first airsoft guns were called Gas Blow Back guns. This term refers to the way these guns operate. They use Green Gas, a silicon based propellant to fire BBs. When the guns are fired, the slide on the pistols blows back, and recreates the way a real firearm is operated. These guns are the most realistic of all airsoft guns, in that they are weighted, balanced, and operated just like the firearms they are based off of. Gas Blow Back guns can be an extremely effective Law Enforcement training tool, because the guns are cheaper than real firearms, and ammunition is also very cheap. Gas Blow Back guns are still being made, and are more popular now that ever.
Can airsoft guns damage your ear?
Loud is relative.
Compared to firearms, and even to many airguns, they are not. Usually, the sound of the motor or the action cycling is the loudest thing you hear when shooting an airsoft gun. These noises can be compared to the sound of a cordless drill.
How do you make airsoft gun stronger?
The safest way of doing this is to strip your gun down and start replacing stuff. Adding high quality items like reservoirs lubricants, seals, valves, etc etc will give you a huge increase in power. If you feel like risking it though you can try (if you have a PCP or CO2 gun) rigging the release valve to only let higher pressure through, or modify the connecting outlet to allow for a bigger tank (that only works if the gun does not have a specific power setting, and instead just opens the valve for a set amount of time).
Is the tanaka kar98k still in production?
As far as I know, the Tanaka Kar98k has been on back order for a while now. Extreme Airsoft used to carry them for $500 which was a steal compared to the prices you will find nowadays. Redwolf Airsoft still carries the Tanaka Kar98k in their inventory, but again, it is out of stock and has been on back order. However, the same site also has a myriad of other classic rifles including the M1 Garand, M1 Carbines, Mosin Nagants, Arisaka Type 99s, and other Kar98ks of non-Tanaka manufacture. They currently have in stock Marushin Kar98ks which are exceptionally well built and very realistic. So realistic in fact that it operates using ejecting shells which may or may not be a deal-breaker.
Are spring airsoft guns automatic?
Yes they can, i have made one, What you do is buy a small motor and some grips to attach to the cock. You hook the gears up to the motor, then the batterie and electric wire. Tape the wire to some plastic and attatch to trigger so when pulled it touches the end of the batterie. Then you hook up to cock and secure very tight so it won't budge. When you pull the trigger it wil connect to the batterie that will turn the moter that will pull the cock back and cock it then it will slip. It will do this repeatedly and your gun will keep shooting when cocked as long as you are holding the trigger all the way.
there are also semi auto springers out there (surprised?):
Tokyo Marui Gindan Glock 26 (G26) Semi Auto Spring Airsoft.
What is the voltage of the r71 airsoft rifle?
Just leave that gun in your closet, or if you havent bought it, save your money because a cheap plastic crossman aeg that will protect you in a battle does NOT exist. On top of that, the R71 is the worst the worst out of the entire R series, and I would know because no one told me to not buy airsoft at dicks sporting goods. Save yourself the trouble and buy a mp5 off of airsoftgi.com or evike.com if you like the model, but I would recommend an M4 for beginners, like a Combat Machine M16 carbine, or any other combat machine, they are all very good for beginners. Oh, and to answer your question, 15-20ft.
*self edit* the Pulse R76 is actually pretty good for a beginner, so just buy that one. But only if its your first true airsoft gun. And dont take it to a field because you will get dominated by people who actually spend money on guns and upgrades.
Should you buy your 9 year old an airsoft gun?
It depends. All boys are different. If they have had problems before with being truthful and honest, then you should really consider everything before you buy anything, If your son is a well behaved boy, test him. See how much he wants it. Have him do some research on his own, or, if that is not your style, have him throw in some of his own money. There is no set answer to 'should you get your son an airsoft gun', its ' can I trust my son with an airsoft gun'
How long do you charge the M83 Airsoft battery for the first time?
One thing you have to be careful about with AEG's is how long you charge your battery. I don't know the answer but I am going to suggest a basic smart charger that will stop charging the battery once it is at max.
A basic Smart Charger goes for about $20 but it is better than over charging a battery and breaking it.
How do you create an airsoft gun online?
Sadly, no. Upgrading and customizing Airsoft guns takes money, and lots of it. It is best to find a stock Airsoft gun that fits your needs from and Airsoft retail website like AorsoftGI, Airsplat, or Evike.
Is an air-soft gun the same as a pellet gun?
No. First off, airsoft guns are chambered in a larger calibre, they're around .25" ( 6mm ). Modern BB guns are all .177 caliber. Pellet guns can be .177", .22" or .25", but bb's only come in .177 ( unless it's a real oldie which might be in .22 ) Second, airsofts all only shoot plastic balls or paint capsules. .177 BB's are copper plated steel the and the .22's are lead, and most BB guns will shoot the hourglass shaped lead pellets as well as BB's. Finally, airsoft rounds are propelled by a 'hammer" coming up and slamming into the round which drives it out the end of the barrel, BB's are always (so far as I know) propelled by a burst of air.
Do air guns which mainly shoot metal or lead pellets and BB's also shoot Air soft Plastic BB's?
Some pistols and rifles are designed to shoot BBs or pellets. Higher powered break-barrel rifles are pellets-only, with rifled barrels and high pressures.
Airsoft guns are completely different and only shoot little white airsoft pellets.
Will 330 fps from an airsoft gun break the skin?
Yes. it can break skin. I have been shot, and had a bleeding welt. nasty, I know, but it happens. hurts and all, but not too bad. This shot was at 10 yards or so, and I would venture to say any further and it would not have
How far can red jacket 1911 airsoft gun shoot?
They shoot plastic BB's, most commonly at 6mm or 12mm. They aren't dangerous unless you fail to abide by proper safety protocol.
NO!!!! it is overpowered for an air soft gun and if an air soft gun is meant for Co2 and green gas then I would highly recommend making sure that gun can handle co2. The only type of good co2 guns are the pistols that have a 5 star review if your going to get co2 the make sure it has no flaw this can come at a hefty price but I would recommend a green gas weapon. For example I bought a WE scar and its a blow back gas rifle it takes co2 or green gas the co2 cracks the stock because of the blow back.
Does dry firing an air soft gun hurt it?
Dry firing paintball guns can be harmful to the gun if done constantly. However, it is recommended that you dry fire your gun to ensure that no paintballs have been left inside the chamber. So, as long as it is only done every once in a while it will be okay.
Dry firing actually does no harm at all unless your just sitting there pulling the trigger for 4 hours.
Dry firing a marker is not potentially harmful to the marker. However, if you have a Bob Long Pillow Bolt upgrade, do not dry fire the marker. There is a chance to blow out the pillow off the bolt and ruin the bolt itself.
hmm.... a good one which you will enjoy will cost 50$ to 100$
from 100$ starts the exellent gun))
+ the upgrades
+the bbs
How do you fix the clip of an MP7 Airsoft Gun?
First a clip is very different from a magazine. A magazine is something that the ammo is self-contained in. A clip a "string" of bullets in which you push the bullets into the gun. I do not think it is possible to make an airsoft magazine, but they are fairly cheap to buy. A clip is something that I do not think you can make either but they are also fairly cheap. The only guns that I know make a clip are the D-Boys Kar-98 (same with Marushin). Some M1 grands use a airsoft style "clip". All in all, it is not practical to make an airsoft mag or clip.
What does AEG means in Airsoft guns?
The 'M4 3181 AEG FPS-300 Electric Airsoft Rifle, M203 Spring Grenade Launcher' is a HOT airsoft rifle. Not only does it offer a high power electric machine gun that shoots full or semi auto, it also has a grenade launcher. It is priced around $90, not bad for a rifle and grenade launcher.
What is the best 30 dollar airsoft gun?
Go with the JG (Jing Gong) Manufacture. In the long run they will be the best. Afew friends and I went in and bought 4 G36's on airsoftmegastore.com. We only spent $117 dollars each. My G36's performance easily ranks with my friends Classic Army M4. Not once do I regret buying my G36!
For the best and cheapest, JG wins hands down!
Check out the site we bought our gun on.

I'm going to have to agree with the above
Airsoft megastore is a great site and although I got an AGM bolt action sniper rifle, the JG's are supposed to be amazing. Airsoft megastore has a great selection and has the highest value to price ratio. Whatever you get, get it from them
Should you paint your airsoft gun gold?
If you play airsoft, then no. It should be a non-reflective colour that matches the area(s) you play in, to reduce the chance of being seen (green usually works best. If you do not play airsoft, paint it any colour you want.
try to use krylon camouflage paint to use on your airsoft guns.
See the link below
What to wear when shooting an airsoft gun?
The thing you HAVE to wear when playing airsoft is eye wear. Do not buy cheap eye wear since most high grade AEG's can penetrate it. You can choose to wear think clothing or you can purchase vest and other essentials at an airsoft store. Hey do airsoft guns hurt? Yes they hurt very bad! If you are playing with your friends you might get little welts but when you play with serious players they have airsoft guns that reach up to 500 fps which is almost half the speed of a real bullet. This can make you bleed and if your not wearing eye protection your eye is probably gone for sure. Even if the gun is 100 fps you eye could be wiped out. ---------- ok,ok...so you need eye protection, but really? that is just the begging. Depending on what type of airsoft you are playing, wether it be "paint soft" or "milsim". if its just "paint soft," then wear goggles, and what ever you want to wear. If its "milsim," normally camoflauge and military gear is absolutely required because we are re-enacting scenarios. Plus most milsim games are capped at 460 fps max... pick up games or "paint soft" games, can range from 280-650 fps depending on location and guns.
