A retail price airsoft m1 garand costs about $800. The price for one now has increased due to the fact that they are almost impossible to buy online unless someone is selling one used which I have seen sell at around a minimum of $1200 USD. (although i don't trust them, i have seen a whole bunch of reviews saying they break after a couple uses. not nessesarily all airsoft guns, just the really cheap ones.)

You have to troubleshoot.

If the gearbox is clicking but not shooting, it's either a bad battery or a bad motor. Usually motors don't go bad though.

If it sounds a lot more quite, and won't shoot, it's probably jammed. Use an unjamming rod to unclog it.

If it's none of these, it's probably a gearbox probably. Send it in to a reliable tech to fix it.

it depends on the size and the fps (feet per second) if the fps is lik 50 its probly likr 97 cent but if it is 250 it is about 150 dollars but if it is 350 or 400 it is about 300 or 400 dollars

It depends on if it is a mid or high cap magazine. Their are also low caps that are used for military purposes, they hold 30 rounds and are not meant for recreational or professional airsofters. Do not use them! Mid caps hold 120 rounds. High caps hold 350 rounds. Both of those numbers are specific to m16 btw. You can also get drum mags the can hold 2500 round and you can get them to be both manual wind and a battery powered wind.

in the scope its a slide on the top put the scope on the gun aligned with the hole in the gun and scope then pour bbs into the scope

I don't think they are neccesarily illegal. I would check with my local law enforcment to find out what the laws are locally before you purchase on of these guns. I know a great place that ships internationally. It's called Airsplat.com. They ship to Canada often, from what I hear. Also, they have great prices and specials for their Items. Take a look and if you have any questions, give them a call. Airsoft guns mainly shoot 6mm plastic BBs. Lightweight or cheap BBs may shatter on impact. There are many different weights for BBs which normally range from .12g or .48g. BBs can also come in different colors which allow for different functions. Black BBs, normally the main choice for mil-sim players because neither the shooter or the target can normally see the BBS. This is pretty much the same case with all dark BBs. White BBs allow for the shooter to easily see his or her BBs and so can the target, allowing the shooter to adjust his shot and the target to dodge the BBs. There's also glow in the dark BBs, which will glow with the aide of a tracer suppressor. Many mil-sim players who are conducting an operation at night load 4 black BBs then one tracer BB, and repeat the process. For daytime use, they load 4 black BBs then a white BB. Airsoft guns also shoot 8mm BBs, though this is very uncommon and mainly used in 40mm grenade launcher (basically an undermounted shotgun designed to look like an m203 launcher and grenade) rounds so that there is the best chance of hitting a target.

It can certainly damage the eye enough that it no longer functions.

Well it could make you bleed (depends what you have on) and it will leave a welt for 5 days or longer but yea it hurts! (I know because I play airsoft)

the best way to lower the fps on a sniper rifle would be to reduce the type of spring you are using. airsplat.com has a whole bunch to pick from to decide what type of FPS you're looking for.

There are no specific laws for paintballing anywhere but you must use them in the privacy of your backyard. Anywhere else without specific permission of the owner of the property you will get fined or go to jail. What about a city park or a wooded park like a mini forest in the middle of a city? because me and my team were going to practice wood ball in a near by wooded park.

Well what you do is you get the mAh and divide it by the output of the charger.

it is not a matter of age, its a matter of maturity. most places, u have to be 18 years old to own an airsoft gun, or u can just get your parents to buy it for you.

When using CO2 there is no set number of shots due to the spiratic nature when releasing the CO2 from the tank. CO2 is unreliable in the fact that the psi of the shots are not consistent and tend to waver and vary depending on temperature. However estimates can be made from the size and past records.

An automatic Airsoft gun runs on two types of power sources. Electricity and Gas.

Basic Electric Function:

Basically a standard battery will power a simple 2 wire transfer with a fuse that varies. the power will be connected to a motor when the trigger is squeezed, connecting the power source to the motor. there is a plate on most models that controls wether the motor makes one revolution or multiple ones. At the end of the motor is a gear known as the pinion gear. this will spin 3 gears named the spur sector and bevel gear. these gears will pull back teeth on a piston held forward by a spring which is held in place by a spring guide. once the gears pull the piston all the way it releases and shoots into the cylinder compressing air that shoots out of the air nozzle, into the hop up to propel the BB forward.

I am not a specialist by any means in gas guns, but by all means, try this:

The hammer hits a valve releasing a tiny bit of gas. everytime a new BB is chambered, depending on the model but for this I will just refer to a gas blowback M9, the slide goes back. pull the trigger again, release the gas propel the BB forward and chamber a new round. full auto simply allows the slide to move back and forth freely until locked into place by the trigger being disengaged.

No, metal BB's are generally 4.5mm.

If you can confirm that the two caliburs are the same, you can go ahead and try for it. But do not attempt a 4.5mm bullet in a 6mm gun, because the result will be catastrophic for you & your gun.

Yes it does hurt to get shot by a BB gun, due to the hardness of the plastic pellets, and the speed they travel out of the BB gun. The

effect only lasts 2 minutes depending on what type of BB gun was used.

My son gets most of his equipment and supplies from Big 5 - they have stores all over the Phoenix area - don't know about the rest of the state. They have a website with a store locator section. The website does not list much for airsoft but the stores have a pretty good selection usually.

No its not illegal you just cant carry your airsoft gun around

Some of the brands of Airsoft guns that I would recommend are Classic Army, ICS, SRC, G&G, JG, AGM, and BOYi.

The3vilGenius - Its always better to put a bit more cash towards airsoft if you are looking for a reliable gun. The JG's and AGM's are cheap and affordable, but reliability and quality of parts can suffer, because they are basically clones of the Tokyo Marui (Japanese company). It is always worth putting a little more money in to get a better gun. Companies I would recommend as for quality and fair price are

ICS, G&G and Ares.
