Where does the Dormouse finish up at the Mad Hatter's tea party?
Yes, it does. The Dormouse is asleep when Alice arrives at the party and falls asleep twice while she is there.
There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Hatter were having tea at it: a Dormouse was sitting between them, fast asleep, and the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it, and the talking over its head.
....`You might just as well say,' added the Dormouse, who seemed to be talking in his sleep, `that "I breathe when I sleep" is the same thing as "I sleep when I breathe"!'
`It IS the same thing with you,' said the Hatter
....`The Dormouse is asleep again,' said the Hatter, and he poured a little hot tea upon its nose.
....This piece of rudeness was more than Alice could bear: she got up in great disgust, and walked off; the Dormouse fell asleep instantly, and neither of the others took the least notice of her going, though she looked back once or twice, half hoping that they would call after her...
What is a paragraph from Alice in Wonderland?
She wakes up. It was all a dream.
The final chapter in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is Alice's Evidence - the chapter which features the trial of the Knave of Hearts. Alice is growing again, much to the consternation of the other people at the trial, and she is angry with the ridiculous way the trial is being conducted. In turn, the King and Queen of Hearts become angry with her, and the Queen orders Alice's execution. The remaining playing cards leap at Alice, but she is very large by this time and she angrily brushes them away...only to wake up on the bank where she had been sitting with her sister. Her sister is brushing away some leaves which have fallen on Alice. Alice recounts her dream to her sister, who sends her inside for tea.
The sister then starts to think about Alice and her adventures, about Wonderland and its marvellous characters and how Alice will one day be grown up, maybe with children of her own, who she will delight with fabulous tales, perhaps including those of Wonderland.

Was Alice sleeping in Alice in Wonderland?
Alice is never naked in the book or Disney's 1951 animated film, Alice in Wonderland.
There is a story that in the 1951 Disney animation, there is a frame or two where Alice appears naked, but as far as VHS and DVD releases are concerned, this is completely untrue, and there is no evidence that it ever occurred in the prints of the film used when it was on general release either.
But she is naked in Tim Burton's 2010 movie, Alice in Wonderland. You can't see her however, because she is behind a bush.

This reveals how some parts of the film industry are so devoid of imagination they struggle to find original material so mangle existing stories! Nevertheless, the accusation of a nude child in a Disney film, even back in 1951, must have been someone's unhealthy fantasy.
There was no nudity in the genuine novels, and it is extremely unlikely Lewis Carroll would even have dreamt of including it in a story about a child for children. The Victorians were probably not as prudish as often alleged, but were a lot more discreet than we are now, and the original illustrations for another children's novel, Charles Kingsley's The Water Babies, depicted its rock-pool residents discreetly nude. I found these drawings reproduced in a 1930s-published children's- story anthology my mother had kept, when it came to disposing of the book after her death, and it rather worried us!
There is though, an aspect to Carroll's hobby of photography we would regard as wrong nowadays, especially under modern British law. It is no secret that he photographed the young Alice Liddell whom he had befriended and who inspired the two stories, both nude and dressed as a beggar, for reasons we will never know. A film version of the character, aged about 7 in the novel, being naked even if out of sight (?), is utterly absurd and pointless, and may or may not be typical 21C Hollywood - but I wonder if was a comment on Carroll's photography.

Why do people like Alice in Wonderland?
It all started in Oxford, England in a boat beneath a sunny sky where echoes fade and memories die. Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll), Reverend Duckworth, Alice Liddell (The Real Alice), Lorina Liddell, and Edith Liddell were all in that boat that famous day. Lewis was telling the three little girls of a marvelous place called Wonderland and Alice loved the stories so much that she asked him to give it to her as a book. So Lewis set to work and gave it to her for Christmas. Later his friend George Macdonald had his children read the story and they told Lewis to publish it. Thus the story was born on a boat.

Dinah my dear! I wish you were down here with me!
There are no mice in the air, I'm afraid, but you might
catch a bat, and that's very like a mouse, you know.
Oh, how I wish I could shut
up like a telescope! I think I could, if I only know how to
begin.
I do wish they would put their heads down!
I am so very tired of being all alone here!
I wish I hadn't cried so much!' said Alice, as she swam
about, trying to find her way out. 'I shall be punished for
it now, I suppose, by being drowned in my own tears!
And yet I wish I could show you
our cat Dinah: I think you'd take a fancy to cats if you
could only see her.
I wish I had our Dinah here, I know I do!' said Alice
aloud, addressing nobody in particular.
And oh, I wish you
could see her after the birds! Why, she'll eat a little bird as
soon as look at it!
I wish I hadn't mentioned Dinah!' she said to herself in
a melancholy tone. 'Nobody seems to like her, down
here, and I'm sure she's the best cat in the world!
'...I do wish I hadn't drunk quite so much!'
Alas! it was too late to wish that!
I almost wish I
hadn't gone down that rabbit-hole-and yet-and yet-
it's rather curious, you know, this sort of life!
As for pulling me out of the
window, I only wish they could! I'm sure I don't want to
stay in here any longer!
I wish the creatures
wouldn't be so easily offended!
I wish you wouldn't
keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly: you make one
quite giddy.
I almost wish I'd gone to
see the Hatter instead!
...and barley-sugar and such
things that make children sweet-tempered. I only wish
people knew that: then they wouldn't be so stingy about
it, you know-
'I wish they'd get the trial done,'
she thought, 'and hand round the refreshments!'
What is the eight of hearts in Alice in Wonderland?
In the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the eight of hearts is one of the children of the royal family. It isn't mentioned specifically, but the roles of the cards are explained in Chapter 8, The Queen's Croquet-Ground.
"First came ten soldiers carrying clubs; these were all shaped like the three gardeners, oblong and flat, with their hands and feet at the corners: next the ten courtiers; these were ornamented all over with diamonds, and walked two and two, as the soldiers did. After these came the royal children; there were ten of them, and the little dears came jumping merrily along hand in hand, in couples: they were all ornamented with hearts. Next came the guests, mostly Kings and Queens, and among them Alice recognised the White Rabbit: it was talking in a hurried nervous manner, smiling at everything that was said, and went by without noticing her. Then followed the Knave of Hearts, carrying the King's crown on a crimson velvet cushion; and, last of all this grand procession, came THE KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS."

What are the lyrics of the song that the white rabbit sings?
I'm late, I'm late for
A very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye,
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
I'm late and when I wave,
I lose the time I save.
My fuzzy ears and whiskers
Took me too much time to shave.
I run and then I hop, hop, hop,
I wish that I could fly.
There's danger if I dare to
Stop and here's a reason why:
I'm over-due, I'm in a rabbit stew.
Can't even say good-bye,
hello, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.
