Then you can go online and fill out the audition form, the auditions will start in March of the next year, so you have from December 2012 to March 2013 to apply.

After that you will get to audition at one of about 5 venues, these are first stage auditions and not before the tv cameras that part comes later if you make it through the first stage auditions.

If you do audition, the most important thing I have read that people say to do is try and be unique and slightly different just not too different, this way you will stand out more than the average auditionee.
