go onto your friend roster. next to the person's name there should be a heart. if there is no heart there then they haven't added you yet. if there is an outline of a heart or a heatr that isn't full then that means they have added you. if the heart is full then it means you have met them (they have gone to your town or you have gone to their town). you don't know if they have defriended you (removed your friend code from their friend roster) from your friend roster, you find out if their town gate is open and you can't get in.

Well heres a cheat for everyone you probally would have heard it before.
First set date to 2000. Then start animal crossing. Oh this cheat will cause you to have a lot of weeds. Next put 50.000 in the bank. Then save and quit. Next start up animal crossing again but before you choose your character tell the phone its 2035. If it doesn't give you the option to change the year change the date at the ds date settings. Next save and quit again. After turn the ds of. Then turn it on again and change the date to 2099! Then start up animal crossing and choose your chracter. You should yawn when you come out the door! lol! If you don't it's not important. What's is important is that you should have a letter from the bank saying you have 99.999 bells plus the 50.000 you put in! But it will be in the bank so you better go get it!

To pay Tom Nook, you must go to the post office/town hall. Then, it varies between the three versions of Animal Crossing. Here are the three versions and what to do:
Regular Animal Crossing - talk to Pelly and click pay off mortgage, and then pay it off.
Wild World - go to the post office section of town hall, and click 'pay off mortgage'.
City Folk - Go directly to the bottom left hand corner of town hall to the ABD. Then, click 'pay off mortgage'.
