Animal rights has to do with the idea that animals should have the same basic rights as humans. Abuse includes anything that hurts or harms the animal, such as not providing a suitable living space, using animals for drug experimentation, and physically harming them.

Why is it against the law to abuse animals?
It's against the law because: IT IS WRONG. People make laws for a reason, to prevent wrongdoings, crimes and hurting others. Abusing animals is definitely immoral, unjust and wrong (Abuse of people is against the law, so why shouldn't animals be too?). It's like abusing an innocent child who can't speak out for themselves for no reason.
Also, even if it wasn't against the law, it is still wrong and shouldn't be done.

It's abuse to the animals, physically, mentally, and emotionally. The dogs are fighting because they've been raised to do so. Then, people end up thinking the dogs are an 'evil breed' when -in reality- that is not ture in any way. The real 'evil' is on the outside of the fighting ring.
