No, you cannot take Ibuprofen and have Kenalog injections. This is because Kenalog injections have a bad reaction with NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen and aspirin.

This is a vestige of the old system of measuring medications in grains.
Follow the math,
1 grain = 64.79 mg
5 grains = standard aspirin dose = 323.99 mg or about our current dose of 325 mg.
When we started doing research on the efficacy of Aspirin; we found that for cardiac prevention half of the standard dose was effective (i.e. 162.5 mg).
Then we figured out that half of the new dose would also work or 81mg ....
This is at least the story that is passed down in medical school ... beware - half of what you hear in medical school is wrong, we just don't know which half ....

When you drink, your liver and kidneys go into overdrive. They quickly try to get rid of all the alcohol they can as fast as they can. Unfortunately, they use up a lot of water in this process, leading one to ask the most common party question "dude, Where's the bathroom?" If you don't have any water while drinking or before going to sleep, your body can become very dehydrated through the party and over the night. It's mostly this dehydration which is associated the morning-after stumbles.

Therefore, it is completely worthless to try and use it in any way other than orally. Usually, the more Hydrocodone in a pill (7.5mg, 10mg), the more acetaminophen is present. This is due to the abuse potential of hydrocodone as an opiate analgesic. The presence of Tylenol severely limits how many pills someone can ingest to acheive a "high". The daily MAXIMUM amount of Tylenol that the body can handle is 4000 mg, which is still a huge amount. If taken too often or in doses exceeding 4000 mg, acetaminophen can (and usually will) cause severe liver toxicity. There are no current Hydrocodone pills in the USA that are purely Hydrocodone. Vicodin is the brand name for hydrocodone mixed with Tylenol, Vicoprofen is the brand name for hydrocodone mixed with ibuprofen. There are many generic versions of each of the latter drugs. Hydrocodone APAP is generic Vicodin.
