IT is under the drivers seat (it is a security module connected to the windows door locks and moon roof )but the memory for that stuff is on the drivers door beloe the arm rest.

You have to take it to the dealership to be check.

It has to be at a set temp. to check, with a special tool.

There are 3 Fuse Boxes in 2005 Audi A6 4.2L. The main one is in the trunk as described above. The other two are located not under the dash, but on the side of your dash board when you open the door, you should be able to pull those panels off easily as they are attached with 3 clips, you do not have to use screw driver so you don't have to damage it, most likely you can pull them off with your hand/finger nails if you can get a good grip.

Trouble code P0131 means: O2 Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

On the drivers side at the end of the dash. Open the driver's side door and you'll see a panel door at the end of the Dash. The fuses are behind that door.

more than likely its your ABS module. def. find someone to run a diagnostic on it first before you get a new module. Dont buy a new or reused module either. take you old module out and have it rebuilt. you can get the module rebuilt for 100-200 dollars. a used module will go out on you very soon and a new module will cost at least 1000 bucks. if its not the module, check your abs sensor and your brake sensors from your brake pads. i had the same problem and my abs module was dead and i also had a short in my wear sensor for my brakes.
