How do male ballet dancers dance?
First of all, they are not called ballerinas they are called just ballet dancers.
They wear flat ballet dance shoes and never pointe shoes. They do many turns and jumps. The male ballet dancers are called "danseurs." It's the original French expression. The female equivalent is "danseuses." "Ballerina" means the female star of the company--the PRINCIPAL. IN ITALY.And also, the term "ballerino" is a real expression--it means the male star of the company--THE PRINCIPAL. IN ITALY.And yes, they pre-dominantly dance in flat slippers (no Pointes) and do mostly leaps, jumps, pirouettes and only demi-Pointe. They tend to look strong, graceful and dominant. Very bravura. A delicate type of masculinity. And let's not forget the most important thing they do--lugging the woman up and down the stage. Giving her more support than the Pointe shoes she's wearing.

How much do ballroom dancers earn?
Professional Ballroom & Latin Instructors earn a varying amount of money. Being an instructor at an established chain might make you minimum wage per hour plus 5 to 10% commission. However, that is only for when you teach. Studios still have a tendency to ask instructors to work for no pay. Instructors can be asked to set up for parties, make phone calls and be present at the studio 8 hours per day. Studios can offer other incentives to make an income through guest parties, local outings, cruises, vacations and competitions. Pay might range from $50 to $300 per day per student attending the event.
Professional Competitors can win enough money in a competition to pay for the expenses of competing at that competition. That is only the winners. The competitors make an income from becoming well known in the industry. Now students wish to take lessons and or compete in competition with them which means they can charge more for private or group lessons and the competitions. They can build a bigger clientele which means more income. "Dancing with the Stars" Professionals can charge $300 / hour for a group class and $200 / hour for a private lesson. That is extreme. Most studios charge $10 to $25 / hour for a group class and $60 to $125 / hour for a private lesson.
Making a good income in the industry would require an instructor to eventually compete, manage or own a studio. It is great for a young person with no debt. You have the opportunity to meet wonderful people, travel the world and do some amazing things. That's only if a studio is doing well.

How do you get a ballerinas flat chested body?
He he, you work out A LOT, or mainly your just born that way.
Umm i think in order to minimize your breast size you will need to do a lot more than just work out. Some Dancers use wraps to smooth them out some so they don't show as much. If your jugs are bouncing around the whole time yes it may throw you off or make you look a bit silly at times but hey you don't have to. I know an excellent dancer and she may be on the plus side but she's great.
(although the 2nd answer is true^) I mean, its like gymnasts' bodies, the training they do, shapes their bodies. In all honesty, not all amazing ballerinas are flat chested. Many dancers in general are, due to the simple lack of body fat. I know whenever I would lose a few pounds, i immediately notice my breasts (which are pretty flat to begin with) shrank. I do not think it is a look you can "get" or one many really wants, its just part of the sport!
Did Catherine de Medici invent ballet?
Yes, and no, It is true that she was the mother of Ballet, but she herself didn't create the dance style, she more took dance masters, showed them things she liked and disliked, and then had them create "ballet de cour" as it was called then.
How Much Does A Pro Dancer Get?
a professional dancer can earn up to 1.3million a year but that's if you really put your self out there
In what year did classical ballet start?
Classical ballet can be traced to Italy during the 1400's at the time of
Renaissance.
If by that you mean: "How do you DO ballet?" Very simple. And complicated. Like this.
Classical music, a classroom with a teacher (preferably an experienced veteran with a real choreographer's natch), and the appropriate outfit for class.
--A Long-Time Player of Ballet, Dane Youssef
Ballet, as we know it today, began during the Renaissance around the year 1500 in Italy. In fact, the terms "ballet" and "ball" as in masked ball, come from the Italian ballare, to dance. When Catherine de Medici of Italy married the French King Henry II, she introduced early dance styles into court life in France.
What type of feet are Russian pointe shoes made for?
When you are wearing a Russian pointe shoe, they spring up onto pointe, theres not much "going through demi pointe"... I would say, strong ankles are needed, when you spring up onto pointe, without breaking an ankle... Russian pointes come in all different sizes, widths, vamps, crowns, and you can get some that are harder, or softer, depending on your feet and comfort. Just so you know, everyone is different, and you cant choose which brand of pointes you want, because they may not be the best for your feet...
I have had sansha's legende's, and they were retarded for me.. then I tried some of BLOCH's European Balance's, and they worked great! I still have them, and they really bring out my arches, but some people hate BLOCH's. It depends, what you feel comfortable in, and what suits your feet..
Addition to answer by Russian Pointe, Inc.:
Actually, Russian Pointes are made for ALL feet! We have over 2000 options in your shoe size alone, to be able to find the perfect size, width, vamp and shank for your foot shape and strength. If you are wanting a shoe that has an easier roll through demi, I suggest our flexible shank options, which feature a cutout design at the ball of the foot, specifically to enhance demi-pointe and roll-through.
The most popular classical ballet around Christmas time?
"The Nutcracker" by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky.
Malmo is located in Sweden. It is in the most southern province of Scania.
there isn't really a person who "started" ballet. ballet originated in Italy, moving with catherine de medici to France when she married king Henry II. she introduced her tradition of Ballo, or dance. in the 1700's, king Louis of France became fascinated with ballet. not only did he create the first ballet academy, he also danced in every production of all the dances. that is, until he became too fat. :( :P from there, France slowly began to lose interest, and that's where russia comes in. Russian george balachine brought ballet to America. tada! a brief history of ballet. :)
