Posture, posture, posture! And what will help you the most is too keep pushing you leg in passe back (not with your hands of coarse).

if you mean what do they wear to dance in class then it would depend on which studio they go to because some studios have dress codes, and if they are actually in a dance studio paying for classes or if they are getting paid to dance. if they are getting paid to dance in a theatre they are probably going to practice dance in whatever they want(performing they will obviosly have a costume). if they are in a studio it would be pink tights, a black leotard and if its cold legwarmers and maybe a sweater or sweatshirt. if you mean everyday wear, they are mostlikely going to wear clothes just like everyone else's. they dont wear tutus to the mall! they might have some stuff that says 'dancer', or 'ballerina' though.

Bloch sylphide are very good, not too strong and good for a beginner's foot that is not too strong. Very easy to break in. other types of bloch shoes can be more difficult to break in.

I am on pointes and I am twelve. I'm in grade 5 ballet. But i do an extra class called Inter Foundation, which helped us to get enough strength to go on pointe in Grade 4. So you should probably wait until either your teacher says or until you are in Grade 5/6

yes, put them in the washing machine on a hand wash setting or just hand wash them. But as soon as they are down out them on and then stuff them with newspaper, otherwise they will shrink.

Yes, but it will be difficult. Many children - either boy or girl - begin young when starting ballet. As they get older, they learn more skills. You would have to start out at a beginning level, and would lose some of these years of experience. A major difficulty is through movement and flexibility. Depends on what the budget is for that particular company is, but generally it is cross between a Wizard and Dark Lord of some kind.

It depends on the person. If you have the right padding and shoes, pointe work can be pain free. But yes, it usually hurts.

1st position: the heels are touching and the entire leg is turned out so that toes face away.

2nd position: the feet are shoulder width apart, and the heels are facing each other.

3rd position: one foot is turned out, and the other heel touches the anklebone of the other foot

4th position: where both feet are turned out, and one foot is about 12' from each other

5th position: both feet are touching heel against toe. this may be difficult for beginners that may have a lower degree of hip rotation, and it is recommended that they use 3rd position.

Yes, although pointe is not as common as demi-pointe for males. I have seen a few males in pointe shoes (white, not pink), but I think most males prefer demi-pointe.
