If you must, but seventh year of ballet is better imo.

You have to bend the shoe where you would naturally bend your foot. You mist make sure you don't squash the front though, as you will make it too wide. Be careful. Its best to be gentle but firm. The best way is do a little bit each day as they are very tough, so be patient as it may take afew weeks to be fully broken in. Good luck.

Ballet- is technical and is usually soft, it is also lifted

Jazz- is sharp an stylized, has high energy and usually faster paced than ballet

Modern- is a unique style that has more grounded, pedestrian movement and usually tells a story through the movement

Hip hop- there are many areas of hip hop but overall it is very grounded and has a lot of attitude, also it has greater changes in qualities ex. Sharp and strong is also very stylized

Ballet dancing appeared in Western Europe and mainly in Italy and France. The first known performance took place in Milan and soon ballet became the favourite pastime of royal families.
