suicide is a sin. you do not have the right to take your own life. it is God's job to take it in His time. although this sin of suicide doesn't take away your salvation, because the Bible says that once you're saved you're always saved, it is still wrong. also suicide is a very selfish act. it is performed with only themselves in mind. they don't think about how it will effect the close loved ones that they have. i have contemplated about taking my own life on several occasions, but i think about family and friends and then i know its not worth it.

What is the purpose of men and women's day in the church?
There can be arguments about how church is suppose to function since there are so many different sects or organizations. Basically church was created by the Creator for us for the benifit of mankind. As church functions start, a love of unity, understanding of our purpose of life, and how we need to treat others throughout the week is put into effect. If you don't take the message home with you, then it is just a waste of time. Of course, this isn't easy as we all try the spirit of unity but the promise is given to us as we try this then the Holy Ghost will be in the Home which will create a loving atmosphere rather than wondering who is doing what throughout the week.

Who do independent baptist churches answer to?
Independent Baptist churches (a category of church, not a denomination) answer to their own local congregations since they are normally congregationalist. The local congregations are answerable to God (based on the Baptist distinctive of the "Priesthood of Believers" whereby each member is responsible to God and has direct access to God).
Independent Baptist churches commonly fellowship with other likeminded churches in Associations or Fellowships. It is understood that these groups provide an opportunity for local churches to work together and support each other. However, it is understood that these organizations do not have control over local churches. If the local congregation drifts too far afield from the standards of the Association or Fellowship, they may be removed from such fellowship. However, this is an issue of collaboration, not control.
