There is no limit, but the limit in the MLB 2K series is 255. In professional baseball there is no score limit. A team may score as many runs as they can. In some amateur baseball (high school, college, Little League, etc.). A rule may be applied that will end a game should a team be ahead by a certain number of runs (10, 15, etc.) after a certain number of innings have been played.

This is simply on-base percent plus Slugging. It is a stat similar to Gross Production Average -- it gives a number. The higher the better,

on-base percent is: (hits + walks + hit by pitch) / plate appearances.

Reaching on an error or a fielders choice does not count as an on-base. A sac fly does count as a plate appearance.

Slugging is: (1*Singles + 2*doubles + 3*triples + 4*homers) / total At Bats.

sacs and walks do not count as at bats.

The theoretical max for on-base percent is 1 (assuming you always get on base)

The theoretical max for Slugging is 4 (assuming you get a home run at every at bat)

to determine OPS; you just add the on-base percent to the slugging.

This makes the theoretical max for OPS: 5.000, unlike other stats where 1.000 is generally the max.

If you are talking about the area bounded by the base lines, its 8,100 square feet (90 x 90). But if you're talking about the area bounded by the outside edge of the dirt, this can vary from field to field.

In professional baseball, yes. In some high school and college rules, no. Local/state high school associations make some special rules that are different than those used in professional baseball.

Baseball is a spring sport in high school. Tryouts for the team usually start in the beginning of February and the seasons usually end in April. It depends on which part of the country ountry you live in but almost every high school team should follow this schedule.

They are practically the same. I've played both, the only difference is the pitching, the size of the ball, the size of the bats, and if you are playing for leagues or school then boys play baseball and girls play softball.

In 2007, NFL teams are allowed to begin training camp with 80 players plus those that played in NFL Europe. Since NFL Europe has disbanded this number may be changed for next season.
