Daisy made about 50 thousand of the "Winchester 73" model ( it's really a Cowboy 1894) BB Rifle for Sears from 1969-73.

simple wipe down with a damp cloth should be fine. Then oil the moving parts with RWS, Gamo or Crosman Pellgun oil. wipe down the rifle with a slightly oily cloth to keep the rust away. Nev Never use Firearms products in an Air gun it will ruin the seals the same goes for any other oil product beyond what is listed above.

The short answer is no, unless you have a firearms collector's licence. A fully automatic weapon is a restricted weapon and unless you have the correct licence you are not allowed to import them or own them. The collector's licence is difficult to get and restrictive.

BB's can be purchased at most sporting goods store. Unless you live in a country where you have to purchase them through a firearms store.

Daisy did not invent the BB gun. Hamilton made the first Daisy model in 1895. , but BB guns were around long before that. Lewis and Clark carried an air rifle with them on the travels to the West and the Austrian army had air rifles as early as the 1500's

Daisy is making this model again. They started selling a new model 25 at Christmas 2009 for $39. The new one is more like the original model 25 with a wooden stock and a few nice upgrades like a safety. The model 25 is rated at 350 FPS with a BB.

The model 35 is new starting in 2010. It is rated at 625 FPS and shoots BB's or .177 Pellets. Unlike the model 25 that is a single stroke, the model 35 is a multi stroke up to 10 pumps.

So as far as power, the model 35 winds hands down. But because of it popularity I'll bet there will be some future version of the model 25 long after the model 35 is gone.

Which model? All the different models are assembled differently. Crosman has made over 100 different models over the years.

Daisy started making the Red Ryder in 1939. It was the No:111 model 40. It has gone through several variations and today it the model 1938.

This would be the model 102 Cub 350 shot, 1952-78. In like new condition it would be worth around $85 but you can usually add 10% to 15% of the value for the original packaging.

In the US, BB PISTOLS may not be mailed in the US mail, other than by a Dealer or Manufacturer. BB "rifles" may be mailed if unloaded. This is specified in the Domestic Mail Manual. In other countries, other rules.

One of the most important items in determining the value of antique air guns is the current condition of the Rifle along with it's collect-ability or demand. So it is not possible to give you an estimate of value with out some sort of description to the current condition of the Daisy. I can tell you this. It was produced in 1988 and carries a 50 year warranty. (Number 1938 B 50th Anniversary)

It is in excellent condition in box also includes the original bbs in box the only thing missing is the leather string that goes on the loop other wise no nicks nothing the box on the end was opened that's all still in original box thanks so much for your answer if you can help me more that would be great

This is why it is important give as much information as possible. The 50 Anniversary, in Excellent condition it worth around $105 in "Like New" condition it is worth around $125. But because you have the box and BB's, traditionally you can add 15% to 20% to the overall price. FYI instead of the Pine wood that is used on regular Red Ryders the 50th used Walnut. It also had a Brass medallion on the right side.

These are extremely valuable collectors air rifles. most people ask their question here but I need more information about the condition of the rifle to give you an estimate of value.

The best quality is really up to the user. BB guns come in all varieties and sizes. I personally like the IZH Drozd by Baikal. It fires a 30 round burst, or I like the Colt Defender for single shot action. But that is just my opinion. It's really up to you and what you can afford.
