What is the difference between a double mattress and twin mattress?
A twin is made for one person and a double is made for two. A double is the same as a full...just different name. A twin is also known as a single (twin=single, full=double). I think they should have just stuck with a single and double...much easier to keep straight. A twin is for one person, really? How confusing!
As a side note, 2 Twin/Single XL's (4 inches longer) are equivalent to a King.

Will a full size mattress and box spring fit in a mini van?
Yes. We just did this three weeks ago in our 2002 Olds Silhouette. On an angle, box spring first, then mattress on top of that. Tight but no problem.
Is it legal to sell a used mattress in Illinois?
NO, It is not, I contacted 3 furniture stores looking for a discarded mattress and they all tried to sell me one. I asked how they could do this when it was illegal. THey told me they wrote it up as a frame sell. I contacted Lisa Madigans office and reported it . She sent me out a a form to fill out to report all 3 businesses. So yes, it is illegal.

Is Memory foam mattress odor harmful?
Odor coming from the memory foam should not be harmful in anyway, however it is unwelcome. You can use everyday household cleaners to remove most odors. Try sprinkling some baking soda on your mattress for 24 hours then vacuum it up.
