Do beetles have teeth?

Zaf`s Answer:

no

Mr.Einstein`s Answer:

Beetle bodies have the same three main parts as all insects have: the head, the thorax (the middle part), and the abdomen (the back part). On the head, beetles have antennae (feelers), eyes, and a mouth. The legs and wings of the beetle come out of the thorax. The abdomen of a beetle does not usually have special parts on the outside of it, but it has the beetle's stomach and intestines inside. Like other insects, beetles are hard on the outside because of an exoskeleton, which is similar to bones on the outside of the body. Beetles have no bones inside them. The exoskeleton is made of hard plates, like pieces of armor.

Will a dented ladybug's wing heal in a month?

Truthfully, it doesn't depend on the moth, it depends if the ladybug will open it's wing. When a ladybug has a dented wing, they have to open it to let the dent out. If the ladybug chooses to live it will open it's wings, but within about 2 months, if the ladybug doesn't open it's wings, it starts to infect it's heart since the dent is pushing on the ladybugs soft body. If you can find a way to open it's wings without harming it, do it, but be super careful. I use small things to get up under the wings, like a needle, with the sharp end cut off so you don't jab it in the tummy.

Good Luck,

What do fireflies drink?

I have checked several web-sites about fireflies (we call them lightning bugs

in NJ) and found some interesting information about their diet. The baby

fireflies are called larvae and eat worms, snails, and slugs. The larvae

live in the ground and look like grubs. The Asian firefly lives in the

water and only eats snails. The diet of the mature adult fireflies is

somewhat of a mystery. The adult fireflies are sometimes predatory (they

use their glow to attract other types of fireflies and then eat them) and

also drink nectar. You can find some more information about fireflies at

the following websites:
