Transmission coolant hoses (in and out) are leaking. The Y-manifold is below the filler cap on bulk head. Hoses connect from here straight down to transmission.

its most likely headdd gasket,, if compression check shows low compression then most likely,,, also couald be cracked head,, leaking coolant passages in intake manifold introducing coolant to heads,, pull plugs lookoing for coolant on plugs, if you find one or two adjacent with coolant on plugs then, bit the bullet, pull the heads and look for gasket or crack, buck

To set your radio follow this procedure
Turn car on
Turn radio on, then off.
Turn radio back on, a message CODE will appear.
Enter code using the preset buttons
when finished entering code, press the > button and you will hear sweet sounds of music!
**if your radio says CODE WAIT, you will have to wait for an hour or so for the car to reset the code. There is NO WAY around this if your radio says CODE WAIT**
If you do not have the code for your radio,
Find out what model you have:
turn car on
turn radio on, then off
Turn radio back on and press and hold the M button for 10 seconds
a code will display on the radio with your model number of the radio.
Call your local BMW dealer and tell them you have the serial # for the radio and need the code, be nice. If they cant/ wont give you the code, look up another dealer and call them, continue to call until a nice dealer gives you the info DO NOT PAY FOR IT!

The bulb is accessed via the trunk. Open the trunk or "boot" for our British friends, then look up, directly underneath the 3rd. brake light itself. You will see the bulb housing, Turn 1/4 counter-clockwise to unseat it. This will remove the bulb assembly with the bulb itself already attached to it.
Remove the bulb by turning about an 1/8-1/4 counter clockwise to remove the bulb itself. Insert new bulb by reversing the steps. A 5 minute job total

Yep and its located in either the glove compartment or right rear over the battery. Also in my 1988 325IS the cigarette lighter works to power my electrical devices however when i plug in most/all new devices the stupid thing doesn't work and the reason for this is the alignment of the contacts on the plug-in. Try some of your old devices first and if none work then it could be your fuse. YOUR WELCOME :-D
