Do you have to have gyro tabs on you bike to be able to have a gyro?
They do not have to be attached to the frame but yes you do need them. When you buy a gyro kit for a bike it comes with a plate that has tabs on it. Unless it is an integrated frame, meaning the headset is two cartrige bearings down inside the frame, if so a gyro will not work without the tabs mounted to the frame. Hope it helped. :)

Is it better to have a smaller sprocket on a BMX bike?
First you need to be clear about what you're talking about.
In regularBike-speak,sprockets go at the rear, andchainrings/chainwheelsgo at thefront.
In BMX-speak, a sprocket goes at the front, and a driver goes at the rear.
If you're speaking BMX, the most obvious difference is the size, the tooth count.
For the same size driver, a bigger sprocket will make the bike slower off the start, but give it a higher top speed.
For the same size driver, a smaller sprocket will make the bike quicker off the start, but give it a lower top speed.
If you change the driver to match, start and top speed will remain the same, even with a smaller/bigger sprocket.
A small sprocket will increase the ground clearance. Better if you're riding ramps as there's less risk of the sprocket/chain hitting the lip as you drop in.
If you're not riding ramps, well, a smaller sprocket is still lighter, which is a kinda-sorta advantage. The downside is that the smaller they get, the faster they wear. And the chain wears too.

Which brakes do you take off a bmx bike?
You don't have to take any brake off at all.
Particularly if you intend to ride it on the road and in traffic I strongly suggest you leave them both in place.
On full-sized bikes the front brake is the strongest, but with the short wheel base of a BMX, it might make more sense to leave the rear brake in place, if you think you have to pull one off.

What is lighter chrome bikes or steel bmx?
Question doesn't really make sense. There's no bike that's made out of chrome.
You can have a steel bike that is chromed on the surface. Or you can have a steel bike made out of an alloy containing chrome. Chrome-Molybdenum, Cr-Mo is a common, strong steel alloy. And it can be chromed.
What'll decide the weight of a bike isn't as much the material, as what the bike is intended to be used for, and what it's allowed to cost. An expensive race bike will be light. A cheap department store bike will be heavy.
