Yes, there are going to be 4 seasons of The Legend of Korra and a total of 52 episodes.
The main cast we're Lorne Greene(Ben Cartwright). Micheal Landon(Little Joe). Dan Blocker( Hoss ). Pernell Roberts( Adam) all or deceased. But the latter years of the spin off which featured Dan Blocker son, and Micheal Landon real life son, I believe are still alive.
They were farmed by day laborers or migrant workers. Apex
Little Joe Cartwright always rode a black-and-white pinto named Cochise. There were at least 4 horses from Fat Jones Stables used during the early years, and possibly as many as 12 horses as the series came to an end after 14 seasons (430 episodes).
Like all the women that have love the Cartwright men, Alice Harper (played by actress Bonnie Bedelia) met with an unfortunate end being beaten to death (and then burned) by bad men trying to collect on a gambling debt her brother incurred.
I could find no tally of how many times the Cartwrights were shot. Considering most people live entire lives without gunplay, the Cartwrights have much more than average.
Well, its kinda complicated. The easy answer is its just years of strain. Working so much, plus in venus where smoking was the norm, took its toll. Also remember after Elvis dies, Newton took on the role as Mr. Las Vegas which meant taking over Elvis' old digs at the LV Hilton, performing two shows a night, 6 or 7 nights a week, for 7 years straight.
Part of it may be his style of singing as well; never taking lessons, he may have been singing "wrong" all these years to where he has just flat-out worn out his vocal chords. This may have been the price he has paid for singing so well for so many years in his distintive voice. As Newton has said himself, even Sinatra wasn't singing the same way later in life.
Lastly, the man suffered from aesthma and respitory issues.
Combine all of this and you get how he sounds today. Still, he is a super entertainer.
they said that Hoss drowned trying save a women but we obviously did not see it
Actor Pernell Roberts wanted out of the series so the writers sent his character Adam to Australia. The character was not killed off so if Roberts wanted to return he could.
The artwork in the opening and closing credits of Bonanza seem to be something of a mystery. Under the direction of the show's art director Earl Hedrick an unknown journeyman artist drew the sketches and watercolors for the series. After a few months into the show's first season in 1959, this artist left the studio for parts unknown. Later, efforts were made to find this artist and give him credit for his now famous work but to no avail. He was never found.
Stranger still, another journeyman artist was hired by the production company for other still works. He too moved on after a short while. When his work remained unnamed, efforts were made to find him also, again with no results. I find it strange that after the first unknown artist that someone didn't keep better records but 'that's showbiz'.
I don't think there was a name before Bonanza. That was always the intended name, I think.
* While the series was still running on network TV, older episodes went into syndication. It was standard practice to give syndicated reruns another title so as not to confuse viewers. The older episode of Bonanza aired under the title Ponderosa.
The actor's name was Dan Blocker. He played Hoss Cartwright on the western TV show Bonanza for almost 20 years until his death from heart failure.
There was Adam Cartwright played by Pernell Roberts, Eric "Hoss" Cartwright played by Dan Blocker, and Joseph Francis Cartwright a.k.a Little Joe Cartwright played by Michale Landon.
It really didn't. Blocker died just prior to the beginning of the last season's shooting. With the death of such a presence the heart just went out of the show. There were no more stories to tell. But because they didn't know at the end of the final season that it really would be the last one, a finale episode was not filmed, leaving the series 'unfinished'. It would have been nice for a last goodbye to the characters America had loved for 14 years.
Ben rode a buckskin named Buck. Adam rode a 7/8 sorrel thoroughbred named Sport. Hoss or Eric rode a dark brown horse named Chubb or Chubby. Little Joe rode a black and white pinto named Cochise whom he often called Cooch.
Many different locations were used in the series 14 year history. A sound stage on NBC studio lot, Incline Village near the California/Nevada border, Lake Tahoe, and many other sites around Los Angeles.
He did. Episode #416, first episode of the final season 14, called Forever, and originally aired on Sept. 12, 1972. As all the Cartwright's relationships with women, this one didn't last either.
The dishes that were used in the series were from the studio props department and their make and pattern are almost impossible to track down.
One of the patterns often used was the famed BLUE WILLOW. I am trying to figure out the Red Pattern, which seems to look like O.P.Co.'s MAYFAIR??
The TV series "Gunsmoke" had such actors as James Arness , Milburn Stone , Amanda Blake , Dennis Weaver , Ken Curtis , Burt Reynolds , Buck Taylor , Glenn Strange and Roger Ewing . Look to the related link below for more information about this long running Western series .
Episode #269, originally aired May 14, 1967, last episode of season 8, The Greedy Ones. Gus learned his lesson and the episode has a happy ending.
