Im going to be my patrol leader in Boy Scouts i am a first class rank...i know i still have to win votes...any tips?

If you haven't been elected yet, just make sure you remain extremely active and speak up during meetings. Also, be sure to be kind and helpful to the people in your patrol. Don't do anything that might make them dislike you.

If you have been elected, be sure your confident enough to lead and be responsible for a small group of people. Work on your leadership skills, as well as your organization skills. Be sure to ask your SPL how your patrol can help out whenever you get the chance, and make sure you contribute during Patrol Leader's Councils. Remember to contact your entire patrol whenever a troop announcement is made, or when you are informed of something they might not know. Also, send them kind reminders for meetings, events, and outings. Signed, a Life Scout and Patrol Leader.

What goes on the Boy Scouts sash besides merit badges?

The main purpose of the sash is to display merit badges. These are attached in rows of three in no particular order. Many just attach them in the order they were earned. Some attach the required badges for Eagle down one border - usually the right. If additional space is needed merit badges may also be attached to the back of the sash.

Venture and Varsity scouts may attach a venture/ Varsity letter in the lower front corner.

Temporary patches may also be attached to the back of the sash.

A sash pin may be worn to keep the sash in place.

Due to a birth defect a boy is born with 14 toes 11 fingers and 3 thumbs How many fingernails does the boy have?

The answer is actually quite simple, it would be 11 either way you look at it. If you don't count thumbs as a finger it would be 11 because you would ignore the 3 thumbs. If you do count them as a finger than you would assume that the 3 thumbs were already counted among the 11 fingers. Therefore the answer is 11 either way.

Assuming that each of his fingers has a fingernail.
