Something is not right. A three digit serial number would make it somewhere in 1901. The first 10,000 Auto 5's shipped to the USA were marked "BROWNING AUTOMATIC ARMS CO. OGDEN UTAH-U.S.A." it depends if it is a chrome plated gun, then 2000kn-3000kn (300euro's to 400euro's) if not, then maximum price is 150euro's

A vague question that is hard to answer. Does it have the original box, manual and other papers? What is the barrel length? Is it a side by side, over/under, pump or semi auto? Depends on what you are shooting at, how good a shot you are, what position you are shooting from and the load you are using. For the vast majority of folks 200m is about it under ideal conditions from a prone position.

Belgium or Japanese made? Got the box, manual, papers that came with it? Any accessories? Overall condition? Without knowing those answers, my best guess would be 100-600.

Basically the same gun. 325 came out first and while it did have a silver receiver just like the 525, the engraving was much more plain on the 325. They also made a 325 Grade 2. browning 325 has a flatter top rib and unvented barrels came in grades from grade1, very plain to grade 6 ornate ingraving with inlayed gold ducks and red setter. i have b525 and i much prefer my wifes b325 better gun if you can find one. They have a cult following. my b525 is been sold for a grade 6 b325 older than the b525 but better

Browning offers history letters for @ 40 USD. It will tell help with the history you are looking for. Without knowing the features, markings and action type, there is not much I can supply.

Browning safari grade rifles are hunting rifles, not target rifles. You should reasonably expect 2"-3" 3-shot groups at 100 yards. Although this can't compare to an accurate target rifle, this is more accuracy than most people can take advantage of in hunting conditions. Altough a hunting rifle is built for accuracy, other concerns are reliability and ability to accept a multitude of ammunition, including multiple bullet weights. These competing concerns cause the manufacturer to make trade-offs that may cause the rifle to produce less than target-grade accuracy. You should not be concerned with lack of target-grade accuracy if you expect to use the rifle for hunting. On the other hand, the rifle may 'enjoy' a particular brand of ammunition or bullet weight and you may find it shoots more accurately than above. Good luck.
