Calculus

The branch of mathematics that deals with the study of continuously changing quantities, with the use of limits and the differentiation and integration of functions of one or more variables, is called Calculus. Calculus analyzes aspects of change in processes or systems that can be modeled by functions. The English physicist, Isaac Newton, and the German mathematician, G. W. Leibniz, working independently, developed calculus during the 17th century.

X plus 3 x plus 4 20?

The answer depends on the question which has not been asked.

What does E equals MC² mean?

E=MC2

Energy equals the mass times the speed of light squared

E=energy

M=mass

C=speed of light

This is a formula for either converting mass to energy or light to equivalent matter.

The highest theoretical speed possible is the speed of light. No real matter currently known of can exceed the speed of light.

Albert Einstein created the formula to calculate the amount of energy in matter.

For example: 1 kg of water has 111 g of hydrogen atoms. So...

Energy=Mass (0.111) x the speed of light (3x10^8) squared, so...

0.111 multiplied by 3x10^8 multiplied by 3x10^8 equals

9.99x10^15 !

Hope you liked my explanation! (+correction and elaboration)
It is the mass-energy equivalent. The "e" stands for energy, the "m" stands for mass (rest- mass- basically when it is not moving) and the "c" stands for the speed of light. So to work out the energy in something you just take the speed of light (approximately 300,000 km per second in a vacuum),square it and then times it by it,the mass that it has ; this will show you that if all the mass in that object was suddenly converted to energy, how much it would be. It turns out to be a lot even for something tiny like a few molecules!
It means that any type of energy has an equivalent mass; and mass has an equivalent energy. It also provides the formula to calculate one, on the basis of the other (the proportionality constant).

Is 3x plus 2 equals 0 linear?

Yes. As there is no x² or higher term.

Actually, 3x+2=0 boils down to x=-2/3, and thus it's a vertical line on the graph paper going through -2/3 on the x axis

What is the line of symmetry for y equals 2x2 - 4x 1?

Unfortunately, limitations of the browser used by Answers.com means that we cannot see most symbols. It is therefore impossible to give a proper answer to your question. Please resubmit your question spelling out the symbols as "plus", "minus", "equals" etc. And using ^ to indicate powers (eg x-squared = x^2).

How do you tell for death function?

Breath will not fog a mirror. No carotid pulse. No muscular movements. No flinch response from tactile triggers. Not raiding the refrigerator for 7 days.

How many gloves do you need to take out of a box containing 6 pairs of brown gloves and 6 pairs of black gloves to be sure you get at least 1 pair eight?

Assuming the last word in the question is meant to be "right", the answer is 13.

The first 12 could be 6 brown left-hand, and 6 black left-hand gloves.

If handedness does not matter the answer is 3 (but have you ever tried to put a glove on the wrong hand?).

Can you please tell an experience which proves a vector field?

You walk from your home to school, you walk back from your school to home. Outcome: you have walked two lots of the distance between your home and school but your resulting displacement is 0: you are now exactly where you started from. The sum of two vectors of the same magnitude but in opposite directions is 0.

Another example: try rowing a boat across a flowing stream. To go to the opposite bank you need to aim up-stream. Alternatively, if you try to row at right angles to the bank that you started from, you will end up downstream. These are examples of adding vectors that are acting at an angle to one another.

What does x equal if five divided by three x minus four divided three x minus one equals eight?

To solve for x, we can start by isolating x on one side of the equation.

Starting with the equation:

scss

Copy code

5 / (3x - 4) = 8 / (3x - 1)

We can multiply both sides of the equation by (3x - 1) (3x - 4) to clear the denominators:

scss

Copy code

5 * (3x - 4) = 8 * (3x - 1)

15x - 20 = 24x - 8

-9x = -28

x = 28 / -9

Finally, we can simplify the right-hand side:

makefile

Copy code

x = 28 / -9

x = -3.1111...

So the solution is x = -3.1111....

What would be the value of x if y-8?

Anything you like, since there is no link between x and y.

When plotting points for graphing a quadratic equation be sure to choose values of x that are greater than and less than the value of x in the?

from the equation using the formula -b/2a to find x value. from there substitute values of x before and after in equation.for example if x is 2 use other x values as 1 and 3.
