No, just do your responsiblity as a breeder and always strive for optimizing the species =3 10 - 27 or 85, mice don't usually need any help breeding (they're like wabbits!) How do you care for a 6 week old female white mouse?

Well, you need a cage. You can buy these at almost all pet stores. Make sure you have a food dish, water bottle that attaches to the side of the cage and a running wheel for exercise. Put your mouse in this cage and give her some time to settle in. Remember that mice are social creatures and get lonely on their own, so a little companion for your mouse may be a good option. You don't need to get anything else expensive, mice are cheap, so when you have the cage, if it's dig enough, adding another mouse doesn't add much cost. Make sure you let your mouse get used to you, stay near the cage and speak to it. When it seems unafraid of you, start picking it up and stroking it. Good luck with your new pet :)

Whether a rat-bite needs rabis course treatment?

No, it doesn't. Unless the rat appeared rabid, which I doubt, you are fine. Rats metabolisms are so quick that if they contract rabies they die almost immediately. Sick rats aren't able to go around biting people.

Catch wild mice?

You can catch wild mice in a number of ways. The best way is to buy a humane mouse trap, which catches mice without hurting or killing them. This means people can get them out of houses without having to deal with dead mice. They are also really good for catching lost pet mice. You can also make a humane mouse trap, with a large plastic bottle (Coke bottles, Soda Water bottles and other such things work fine.) Cut the top off and then turn it back on itself, then put in some food. Mice go in and can't get back out again. You can also buy a plain old mouse trap, but these are very inhumane as they kill they mice, or trap them so they have to endure a slow death. Mouse poison is also quite inhumane, and can also put other animals at risk if they eat the mouse that has consumed the poison.

Can a baby mouse have water?

Is there anything you can do to either stop your rats biting you or to make it easier to take them out of the cage when they have started biting you whenever you are near them even through the bars?

I know this works for hamsters, but I'm not sure about rats... anyways, rub your hands around in whatever you put in the bottom of their cage before you do so, so they get used to your scent.

What do brown rat's eat?

Can mice eat rat food?

They actually don’t. A small study by David Holmes at Manchester Metropolitan University showed that mice prefer grains and sweet things over cheese. As to how this myth got started, it’s not entirely clear, but it reaches at least as far back as Shakespeare.

One theory is that in the medieval era, there wasn’t much food available for mice to steal from human houses, so little teeth marks in cheese were the most obvious signs of their presence.

And although this misconception well predates modern cartoons, there’s another theory that it was just easier (not to mention cuter) to draw mice with a nice hunk of cheese rather than something like grain, so cartoonists perpetuated the stereotype.

Whatever the reason for this wide-spread myth, the fact is that mice will eat cheese if it’s all that’s around, but they’d really prefer cereal.
