The dormouse (Eliomys) is a specific genus of rodents that includes the species Eliomys quercinus (the garden dormouse). It is related to other rodents such as mice, rats, and hamsters through their common classification within the order Rodentia. Eliomys nitela, or the Maghreb garden dormouse, is a subspecies within the same genus as the dormouse.

Anyways I've read that you shouldn't bathe your rabbit so we don't. Instead I wrap her up in a large bath towel and lay her on her back in my lap. If she's on her back and her head is covered she won't squirm. I then take a dampened warm terry cloth towel and rub her tail end so the clump lets loose of her hair. Usually I have to use a pair of scissors to CAREFULLY cut it loose. Then take the damp clothe and finish cleaning up her tail end. I like to finish with a little bit of cornstarch, it helps to dry her tail end. Then lots of loving and let her run around the house for a while. Cheers!

in research i read 1-2 times a day. was told i wouldn't probably never see it. occurs between midnight and 5 am usually. however my bunny liked to feed at 11 am and i have it on video. lol. and my 3 babies that survived are healthy little porkers! it does take about 24 hours for mom to start lactating. you can tell if they are being fed if by flipping them over they have full round bellies. if they are sunken in and wrinkly they need attention. you can put a drop of honey in their mouth til you get them to a vet. vet will give mom a shot of a lactition hormone. make sure you pet mom before touching babies and when you put them back in cage-pet mom/baby/mom/baby/mom/baby. cover your scent.

It's best not to give rabbits any bath at all. Baths are dangerous for rabbits: they can easily become ill or injured from being given a bath. Also, rabbits are clean animals and they wash themselves: if your rabbit is dirty, something is probably wrong with its health and it should see a vet.

If a bath is necessary, it's best to try a "dry bath" first (see related question below for more details). This is the safest for your rabbit. If the dry bath doesn't work, then you can try a wet spot bath with a wash cloth. If the spot bath doesn't work, either, then you can try a full wet bath, but you must be very careful and follow specific procedures to keep the rabbit safe (see related question below).

If you do give your rabbit a wet bath, you can try it with just water. If just water cleans the rabbit, great! It's much better to just use water than to use a shampoo or soap. But, if your rabbit is very dirty, it probably needs shampoo. Do NOT use just any shampoo! Most shampoos made for humans, even ones for babies, even some for pets!, are too harsh and can lead to chemical burns or skin irritation. Use a hypoallergenic, non-medicated, natural-ingredients shampoo.
