Neuschwanstein is located in Bavaria. If you really want to see Ludwig's greatest castle go to his hunting lodge. It is fully decorated and with his furniture still in it. He also built a grotto with a lake in it that held a swan boat so he could sit in it and listen to music played for him. Neuschwanstein has very little inside it, but the area around it has his family castle across the lake and the area is very pretty.

i work in the tea rooms at the castle, and 3 of my friends that also work there have seen 'the butler' a man who was supposedly a murder; and sometimes we mess around and pretend to 'speek' to there ghosts and when mentioning 'Lord Harrington' we've heard footsteps and doors slamming; there is also a little boy named William who still roams the castle, and throws balls and things around; there is also supposed to be a woman who still stands on the roof of the castle, who a costumer's child was crying about saying that she was going to jump off the roof and kill herself, (we later found out that a woman had actually died this way many years ago) and the white lady, who many of the people who viste the castle have supposedly seen with a dog :)
