At ten years old, a cat is in its senior years and may not have the strength or energy to play anymore. It may be because of arthritis or some other medical problem. If the cat appears to be in pain, take it to the vet.

Clean cat litter is generally not toxic. If it were toxic to humans it would almost certainly be to the cat as well. It is, however, laced with odour-eating detergents which won't do you any real favours if ingested. Even if the cat litter has just come out of the bag it's always best to wash your hands after handling it. Cat Faeces, on the other hand, while not technically toxic, can contain bacteria that can have a detrimental effect on health. Avoid handling Faeces with bare hands and wash hands after contact, even when gloves were worn. Contact with the eyes can be especially bad news; it has been known for people to permanently loose the sight in one or both eyes due to infections caused by rubbing the eyes after handling dog & cat faeces. well, first of all, it depends on the breed of cat and the breed of dog. a terrier wouldn't get along with any cat. If your dogs is friendly and NOT aggressive, it is possible.let your cat get used to the dog, it is better if the dog is a puppy. DO NOT force your cat to the dog. And ALWAYS watch for when your dog and cat come near each other. ALWAYS be ready to stop a fight because either your cat or dog could get injured and they would never become friends. If you can.. you can either ask someone to keep an eye on your cat, or you can buy this decent sized jug that holds the cat food that lasts about 1-2 or more weeks depending on the cats diet. First of all, go to a pet store, get a cat toothbrush and toothpaste, and start brushing his teeth, once in the morning and once at night, but be careful because it will hurt the cat and he might go in shock. second, he shouldn't be going outside at all because he could get tape worm and die. last, get a new vet because, if he/she isn't already telling you this then he/she is a lousy one!

You have to wait until the mother cat lets you. One of my cats decided I needed to play with her day-old kittens...she picked them up one at a time, deposited them in my lap and left them there until she figured I'd had them long enough...at which time she collected each kitten and took them back to her bed.ok from suzie438 that is cute
