Can you add chicken broth to dry cat food?
I wouldn't, unless it's specifically designed for cats.

There is another, more serious reason why not to soak dry cat food into ANY liquid for any amount of time: Believe it or not, bacteria can still be found in dry food as even the rigorous cooking process doesn't, more often than not, kill it all off. Soaking the food in water or broth encourages the bacteria to grow - which could be incredibly dangerous for the cats as this could lead to serious food poisoning from the bacteria. If you must soften the biscuits, don't leave them out for any more than 20 minutes - but if you wanted to feed soft food it would be highly advisable just to feed them a high-meat wet food instead.
Homemade chicken broth, as long as there is no added salt or any other flavourings, is just fine for the cat in tiny doses. Adding a small amount of chicken broth to the cat's water will entice it to drink more, especially if it is feeling poorly.

Get a warm washcloth and smooth on her face. You might have to rub just a tiny bit. But cats do not like rubbing like that, so go easy. Make sure it comes off! You may have to let it soak by going over it many times with that wet wash cloth to soften it as it is probably dry by now. Use just water, no soap or anything. Careful of the whiskers.
