Charles Manson

As far as I can tell, Charles Luther Manson has dropped out of sight. I could find no information on him at all. Sometimes people just want to disappear, it is probably hard with his infamous father.

Charles B. Huggins was born on September 22, 1901.

I'm not exactly sure if this is a question about crime or religion, but I'll give it a try. Manson wasn't demonised nor was he a demon. He was an abused and neglected child that made him an angry and dangerous adult.

But we can't blame God for what Manson did. God gave us free will, and then he instructed us on how to use that free will. He wrote it all down in a book we know as the Bible. It was not God's job to intervene, it was ours, mankind's. We really are our brother's keeper.

God gave us a world. He gave us free will. And he gave us each other. Then he gave us the instruction manual in the form of the Bible. He even made it simple for us. Moses brought the tablets down off Mt. Sinai with the 10 rules for life. These little rules are often refered to as the 10 Commandments.

It is a little difficult to see the resemblence between Jesus and Charles Manson. That's a bit of a stretch even for the most active imagination. Christ was the giver of life, Manson was the destroyer. Big difference in my book.

Different cities and juridictions. I believe it was the L.A. Sheriff's Dept. that had contacted city police thinking that the Hinman murder was connected to the Tate-LaBianca murders. They were scoffed at. Months later some Einstien finally put them together but a lot of time was wasted. There was a message written in Hinman's blood at the crime scene and other similarities, that could have easily hooked it to the later killings. But despite the 'bumps' in the road to justice, it finally did prevail.

That watch belonged to Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi, whether he still owns it I have no idea.

Yes, Charles Manson was sent to the Vacaville Medical Facility in California after being convicted. He died there in 2017. Some of his followers are still alive today, but it is not clear where all of them are living, as they have dispersed over the years. It is not necessarily the case that all of them are living in Solano County.

Helter Skelter

Actress Sharon Tate, her unborn son she planned to name Paul, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger (Folgers Coffee family), Voytek Frykowski, Folger's boyfriend, Steven Parent, friend of the groundskeeper who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were killed the night after Tate and friends.

Another Family member, Bobby Boseluei, was convicted for the murder of a music teacher named Gary Hindman. Manson cut off Hindman's ear after he tied him up. Then he left, ordering Boseluei to finish him off. Susan Atkins was present for that murder also.

From what I have been able to turn up, the album must be inspected before a price can be determined. Look online for vinyl album appraisers and dealers. I would image this would be a somewhat rare find and if in good shape may be able to bring in a good price if you were to sell it.

Unless Manson took out a copyright on his story anyone can write about his life. The L.A. prosecuter that convicted Manson and his chums wrote a bestseller based on the arrest, trial, and sentencing of the notorius killers. Vincent Bugliosi had the trial transcripts which are open to the public, and his own first-hand account of the proceedings. Legally you can write about your own experiences.

Helter Skelter, as it pertains to Charles Manson, was his version of a race war between whites and blacks. He was inspired by the song Helter Skelter, a Beatles song, on their White album. Manson was obsessed with the Beatles and felt they were sending him messages in their music. Manson is the 'poster child' of what happens when you take too many drugs, especially LSD.

Susan Atkins did. The other two, Patricia Krenwinkle and Leslie Van Houten did not.

In 'The Turning' he leaves school in 1975, so if he is 20 years old in 'On her knees' it must be about 1978

Last I heard he was still as dementedly wicked as ever.

It is so hard to make any sense of Manson. He rambles on sometimes for hours. At the last parole hearing he attended, he rambled for nearly 4 hours. The board sat patiently, waiting for him to run out of steam.

He claims he never killed anyone, and that he was framed by the 'establishment', but as he rambles and rants it turns into 'I should have killed more'. So if he ever did repent it would not be something that one could take very seriously.

Its seems as the years pass, Manson may be suffering from some form of dementia, worse than what was wrong with him as a younger man. This does not mean he has changed. He is still controlling, manipulative, and basically evil. He should always be approached with caution.

He had several cooling periods. He commited crimes since in its teen years and periods between them is a cooling period.

He did not.

He was. Manson had all the earmarks of a cult leader. He isolated his 'family' members, brainwashed them, controlled them with fear and threats. Their personal possessions were taken from them, their children were separtated from them and given to others in the family to raise. Classic cult.

He did originally receive the death penalty for the death of a man while he was burglarizing his home. His version was that he tripped while trying to flee the scene and the gun he was carrying went off and the homeowner was killed accidentally.

As had happened in another famous case, the US high courts struck down the death penalty, (Charles Manson was in the same situation), only later to be reinstated by individual states.

So he did and didn't receive death.
