You learn sideline routines, cheers for basketball, football, and anytime plays. You get private coached on routines, camp dances, etc. that you learned as well as stunts (if you're a building team). Its a great time to bond with your other team mates and possess leadership qualities along the way. They also go over the basics for motions and jumps.

Doing a triple back hand spring is very easy when you get the hang of it. All you have to do is go to gymnstics and practice for a period of time. When you are ready you go to the park and you start off running then you do a round off back hand spring 3 times and there you are. That's all it takes if you practice.

I would say that there isn't a definite percent, since a lot of people do not consider cheerleading to be a sport. It has been proven however, to be the most dangerous sport for female athletes. This is mostly due to the fact that cheerleading results in more serious injuries than other sports. Permanent back injuries are common as well as bone breaks, sprains, and muscle strains.

How do you make free cheer mixes?
There are a few programs that you can use on your computer to make mixes. If you have a Mac, GarageBand is an excellent tool that even supplies extra sound effects and musical items. If you have a Mac or PC, Audacity is a free program downloadable from the internet (just Google it) that does most of the same things. In some respects, they are the same, but GarageBand adds extra sounds better than Audacity, and Audacity can edit the existing sounds better than GarageBand. The only drawback to Audacity is that you have to record the sound live, you can't use a CD, but if you play the CD and record it, it works the same. Be sure to watch out for copyright infringement.
How light do you have to be a flyer for cheerleading?
It doesn't matter how much you weigh. It depends on if you have good balance and if you have strong enough bases. I know because I am a cheerleader and I have been a back spot base front spot and a flyer for cheerleading. You just need teamwork and strong cheerleaders!:)

Normally sound will spread out in as many directions as it can from a source. As it spreads out with distance, it loses energy (loudness). A megaphone is a cone that limits the directions that the sound can spread into. It concentrates the sound in the forward direction, so that it sounds louder in that direction at longer distances. The tradeoff is that the sound is much quieter off to the sides of the cone than it would be if the megaphone weren't used
Is cheerleading harder than gymnastics?
Gymnastics and Cheerleading are much alike in ways but Gymnastics is way harder Gymnast do tumble and do flips on the ground but they also do it 6 feet in the air on a 4 inch beam!
Gymnastics gets judged on skills and if you don't do them perfect, that's just to bad. Most sports have an hour or longer to do there sport or a certain amount of tries, but gymnastics gets only one.
Most likely, The only thing that's stopping you from getting a backhandspring is a mental block. Get over that and a backhandpring will be easy.
