The cheetah doesn't really have an offense. Their bones are lighter like a birds which allows them to run fast. They can easily be cruched by bigger predators (like lions or leopards) or beaten by hyenas who have very powerful jaws that can chew through bones. Yes the cheetahs have sharp teeth and retractable claws but they are of little use in defense unless they are protecting their young from baboons or humans. They are really only used to catch prey.

Cheetahs are mammals, so they share all of the characteristics of mammals. This includes live birth, being warm blooded and having a spinal column.

Lions do not hunt cheetahs. On the contrary, lions and cheetahs are both preying animals. They hunt other small mammals such as gazelles and antelopes.

Most of the time they will just suffer through the rain, and get wet. Some might look for shelter if there are lions nearby or else they just try and hunt in the rain but they probably won't be very sucessfull.
