Were there any vehicles inspired by the Chrysler building?

Your question may be slightly backward: the Chrysler building is an excellent example of art deco style architecture, which was in vogue from about 1920 until WWII, and thus its design was inspired by the design elements favored by the artists and designers of this period and not the other way around. For more, and likely better, information, try a Google search of these terms.

Sadly, close to 300 dollars. According to the mechanics at my local shops "because of chrysler's configuration of the engine" In my opinion just do it yourself. Change the rotor in the distributer, the spark plugs, and all other things you see fit.

How do you change a water pump on a 1990 Chrysler Lebarron?

Its inside of the engine, but the haynes manual, I've done it saved $700

**********************************************************

While it is a good advice, that "answer" is not really an answer...

Here it goes:It would be best if you get the Chilton and Haynes manuals on the Spirit. Between the two of them you can fix 95% of the entire car and be able to save thousands of dollars in mechanics. But even without the help of the manuals, the water pump is a relatively easy one. First you need to remove the belts, lower radiator hose, and the Air Conditioner compressor from its bracket (four bolts, one of them is longer). There is NO need to disconnect the gas hoses, just move the compressor to your left and tie it with a piece of wire to keep it to the side. Then you have to remove the alternator, again, there is no need to disconnect its electrical wires. then you remove the compressor bracket, again it has bolts with two lenghts, so take note where the long one goes. The water pump can now be seen exactly downward under the compressor bracket. It has four bolts, three on its upper part and one on the lower end. The pump is built on two halves, the one to your left (right side of the car), is the part that holds the impeller, and the one you buy to replace. The other part is reused after a complete cleaning and inspection. With the pump out of the car, you separate the pump halves and use some silicon sealer to install the "J" shape gasket that should come with the new pump; then remove the pulley from the older pump and install it in the new one. Reinstall the pump to the engine block with enough silicon sealer (here the manuals show an "O-Ring" between the pump base and the block, but my car was sealed with silicone only). The three upper bolts need 30 Lb-Ft of torque, and the lower one 50 Lb-Ft. Assemble the rest of the components in reverse order from disassembly. It is much better to replace the coolant, unless it was new or recently changed. Some water pump manufacturers recommend that the Radiator Cap be changed sat the same time, but unless it is leaking pressure I feel it is not really needed, if in doubt, it is inexpensive. Another tip is to add one bottle of water pump lubricant and anti rust to the coolant, as it helps to lubricate the pump seal, that is usually the part of the pump that tends to fail first. When reinstalling the belt, ensure that it has the proper tension. Check that there are no leaks and you are done!. Amclaussen.
