He may still have some fluid or mucus on his chest. Increase your dogs fluids and this will break up any mucus and Lasix will make your dog thirsty. If he's having trouble breathing or constantly coughing then call your Vet asap.

Um...do you mean "Are Cocker Spaniels good with children?" If that's what you mean, then yes, the breed is known for being good with children, generally. yes, i have a cocker spaniel and the dog is very friendly with my children and at first it was shy but then he got to know the family and he's independant.......also they are known to have the longest eye lashes

I dont know about the breed in general but my cocker malts 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. You can improve the condition by assuring a good well balanced diet.

95% of dogs can swim. Cocker spaniels do swim but were naturally bred to hunt birds and small mammal's. Sometimes, if there is a duck in the water the cocker spaniel will leap and do whatever it takes to get that prey. So if you have a cocker spaniel and you find it attacking a bird in the backyard or trying to catch a squirrel this is perfectly normal.

I'd go with a Labrador, as Cockers can be very hyper and some have a bad habit of biting :( Labs are much sweeter and are very obedient :)

Cocker Spaniels can live to about 13 or 14 years old.

If you train your spaniel or if your spaniel is well behaved then yes they are.

I also have a seven year old Cocker Spaniel that had chronic ear infections... however she also ended up cauliflower ear and had her ear canals removed -but i do know that Cocker Spaniels are known for having ear troubles, I can get more information about the medication we used and other information soon, I'll tell as soon as I can.
