Can college players be traded?
No. Collegiate players cannot be traded; no matter what sport the participate in. But, the student can transfer to a different school. The NCAA, governing body of collegiate sports, has many different rules regarding the subject. Although, the biggest rule is let's say that I was playing for Penn State in basketball with a losing record. But Memphis is on their way to the tournament. I could transfer to Memphis, if they would accept me; but would have to sit out the rest of the season from playing. But if I transferred from Penn State to a lower division; IE 1-AA, div 2, 3 or NAIA, I could play right away. And then I could transfer to Memphis without having to sit out. Hope that makes sense.

In college such as division 1 and 2 they hit with aluminum bats which is bad for the players because they have to start getting ready for the minor leagues. also in the NCAA they have 10 run rule that if for the once the game is in the 7th inning and a team is up by 10 or more runs the game ends.
