You can pretty much connect any make PC or Laptop to any printer. The only time I have found this does not apply with devices that can print are iPhones and Ipads which require iphone compatible printers.

There are printers that only have three colour cartridges - blue, red and yellow. With these printers, black printing is done by using all three colours - which seldom produces a really black ink. It is better to have a separate black cartridge for black printing, as it saves over-using the three colour cartridges. Colour cartridges are usually dearer than black cartridges. Also, avoid cartridges that combine the three colours in one fixed unit. For example, if the blue runs out, the whole cartridge will have to be replaced, even if there is red and yellow ink remaining. So always use three separate colour cartridges, that can be individually replaced, and one (usually larger) black cartridge.

No Brother ink cartridges do not contain chips on them. The printer uses a ligh sensor to detect the amount of ink left in the cartridges. This is very handy if you use cheaper replacements as you dont run into any problems with unrecognised cartridges, and they are inexpensive to run.

Lay the stained area on top of a clean dry white towel. Apply water to the ink stain and blot with another clean white cloth, removing the stain as you blot.

Apply your normal liquid laundry detergent onto the ink stain and allow the garment to sit for 3-5 minutes.

Wash in the warmest water that the fabric can tolerate.

Before drying, double check to make sure the ink stain was removed, if not, repeat the previous steps until it is.

A dot matrix is an older computer printer which operated with 2 dimensional lines of "dots".

Ink is like blood in human. So to function well, you must refill your cartridge with the same type of ink. There are Universal Inks for HP, and Universal Inks for Epson. Actually, specific inks for each printer models are recommended. This is specially required when printing photos. But for plain text and graphics print on plain paper, you can actually use a refill of Universal Inks.

Yess!!!! It's number 11. You can use the black & white one AND the color. I know, because I have a Dell v505w. My problem these days is trying to find a driver for it to run off my new MacBook Air. Ugh!!
