If you are in high school, I think this is a very normal way to feel. I felt the same way at that age. It has a lot to do with becoming mature. It's fun and exciting to think about someone you like, but the reality and responsibilities that come with being in a relationship are sometimes hard, and it can be a lot of pressure to maintain. Many teenagers are not ready for that kind of commitment, and that's perfectly fine. When you are a bit older and truly ready for a relationship, you won't feel "off." It will just feel right.
