The name of the song is "Ain't No Grave" and the song is sung by none other than the legendary Johnny Cash :-)
from what iv seen, during the beginning of the shows first run was deck hands making 50-80k at the end of the trip
It depends on the amount of crab per season, the quality of the crab that is caught, how many people is on the boat, and boats quota.
Plutonium is the most dangerous element you can handle because it is highly radioactive. Just inhaling a small amount of plutonium dust will give you lung cancer. However, plutonium is rather hard to come by so the most dangerous element you will probably come into contact with is mercury. Mercury is highly toxic and should never be handled without proper lab equipment and safety measures.
The exact amount that the Discovery Channel pays the cast of Bering Sea Gold is unknown. The cast is under contract, so they cannot speak about their earnings from the actual channel. However, the cast typically brings in approximately $10,000 a week just from the gold they find.
Was in Alaska doing some consulting work and had an opportunity to go drinking with Captain and Crew on "Time Bandit". It was at the end of the second season with Discovery Channel and was told they have a contract for 10K per season per boat and a very small expense account for production crew. At that time, they made about the same amount a year in merchandise sales.
everything you see on reality shows: fake, staged, scripted. it has to be. the producers or channel could not be insured if it wasn't.
No insurance, no show.
No, you can not give tonsillitis to another individual, especially, if you do not have tonsillitis. This is an inflammatory infection within a person's body. This is not a contagious infection.
in Platinum, go to Pastoria City and put your face in the big croagunk poster thing, if there is a croagunk in the Safari Zone, You will see a croagunk walk in. In Diamond and Pearl just go in the Safari Zone, You might get lucky.
According to the tribute show, he married his first wife Mary in 1982 and divorced in 1991 (9 years est). No mention of his second marriage, it ended in divorce sometime around 2007/08, it was a "bad" divorce and he lost allot. The stress from it contributed to his health issues in the following years (my opinion only, but you can see the change in him on the show).
According to his ex-wifes obituary, they were married for 17 years and divorced in 2006, so that would mean they married in 1989. She died November 29th, 2010. I believe her name was Teresa Louise Harris
At first I was confused because I was thinking of Jake Harris, hahah. But no, Jake Anderson till hasn't found his dad.
The previous answer that was listed here I don't feel is really accurate. Ricks family are Oregon locals, and through a series of events I got the chance to actually speak to Rick.
Rick no longer fishes the Maverick for King Crab because he leases his license to another operation. The leave from the TV show had nothing to do with anything that happened on the show. He still fishes the Maverick off of the pacific coast.
With out releasing private information this is all I can say, but I would rather say little than allow others to provide information simply based off of what they've seen on the show.
I've known Rick and Donna for close to ten years, a couple of the reasons they stay close to home is that they are helping to raise their grandson, and Rick still fishes his other boat, "The Donna" around OreOregon. The Maverick is usually docked in Warrenton Oregon, when not at sea.
Phil was a star of Deadliest Catch from the series premiere in 2005, but what we all shared on TV for just a few years was only a small part of his life as a fisherman and father. He worked for 18 years as captain and co-owner of the Cornelia Marie and for 32 years in the fishing industry. The son of a fisherman, Phil is also the father of Jake and Josh Harris who both served -- and learned -- under him on the Cornelia Marie.
Discovery dedicated the sixth season to Captain Phil. His memory will live on in the minds of the fans and through the footage of the Discovery Channel's highest rated show. In the immortal words of Captain Phil, "You can make things happen, watch things happen or wonder what the F$$K happened....we're making things happen"

This lady named Mary. No one knows what she looks like or anything.
If you watched the tribute episode Mary Harris was on the show. The boys definitely get the dark hair and thinness from their mom. She has black hair and is quite skinny, from the pictures they showed she was always quite attractive.
because bill and his first wife divorced when he was young, Bill married for the second time and had 2 more children.
None of the captains from the show Deadliest Catch are dating matchmaker Patti Stanger. As of 2014 Patti Stanger is dating David Krause.
No they just pulled it from the show, the owners were over it
Its usually two months long but if you live in a place where its really hot it would practically be for about four to five months. -answered by:Alex Hernandez 13 yrs. old Corvallis,OR
if your talking about Blake painter from the deadliest catch then he was a deckhand on the ship the maverick and got a premotion to the part time skipper. Both him and the ship left the show because the film crew lied about Blake to make him look bad to improve ratings.
On January 29, 2010, Phil and crew were off-loading the Cornelia Marie at St. Paul Island, Alaska. The boat's engineer, Steve Ward found Phil on the floor of the stateroom, having suffered a stroke."
Phil was flown to Anchorage, where he underwent a 12-hour procedure to repair the damage to his brain. He was placed in a medical coma, but even that couldn't keep him completely quiet. He recovered long enough to share his wit and love with family and friends before passing on February 9.
It depends on how many lbs of crab they catch.
