A good way to start a conclusion is by summing up how even though these two things ( whatever you are comparing and contrasting) had many similarity's and differences, they still did well. (or whatever your topic is about.)

It mostly depends on what region you are talking about, but as a whole the people were looking towards a stable government that helped them. In modern day terms, it was more liberatarian. For Europe, it was a time of revolutions and changing authorities. The people were looking for a government that lasted more than ten years. America's government was in the process of becoming federalistic, that is after the 70's. So to say libertarian would be a safe answer, if I am understanding your question.

There life was tireing as many people could not afford education, so children as young as 6-7 were sent to work in the factories to earn money for their family's. They would have to work from dawn till dusk everyday except a Sunday and many would die from terrible diseses.
