Degrassi's 13th season will not air yet because it hasn't even begun production. Once MuchMusic and/or TeenNick has renewed it for a 13th season, the cast of Degrassi will begin work on filming the episodes in early 2013 in order to have the first half ready for broadcast by July of 2013. Degrassi is currently in the middle of airing the first half of Season 12 which will likely end in the middle of August, currently the first half end date is slated to be ending on August 16, 2012 however the remaining second half of Season 12 likely will not finish until either April of 2013 or May of 2013.

Well YEAH!!! I think there's no Degrassi without Emma or Manny.. They have been there since the very beginning.. The first episode was about them.. Yes, Emma, Manny, and Liberty share a dorm at college in the 8th season of Degrassi. The only thing that sucks though about this new season of Degrassi is that no one who has ALWAYS been on Degrassi: TNG is has already graduated... Craig left Degrassi for Vancouver after Ellie encouraged him to pursue a solo career and follow his dream of being a musician. He returned in Season 6 while Ellie was at university, studying to be a journalist and dating the editor of The Core, Jesse. His cocaine addiction caused Manny to break up with him, and Ellie was the one who stayed by his side when things spiraled out of control. Craig told Ellie he loved her, but she believed it was just a game to him, a desperate attempt to get her to give him back the drugs. She felt betrayed, having just confessed that she always loved him, and at the airport, even though he says he meant it and had felt that way for a long time without having the courage to express it, she says goodbye and sends him to rehab.

They meet again in Hollywood while Ellie and Marco are visiting to support Paige and her role in a new movie-musical. Craig tells her she can stay with him when she and Marco have a falling out, and he plays her the song he wrote for her while in rehab, saying that if she ever needs someone he will rescue her like she rescued him. Ellie tells him that she knows she can't fix her father's post traumatic stress disorder and Craig tells her that no one expects her to take care of everyone else without having her own needs. He tenderly brushes her hair back and makes her breakfast before taking her to the airport so she can go see her father in the hospital. As she's leaving Craig regrets not being able to tell her how much he loves her and everything he feels for her, but just before she boards the plane they both turn around and go back to each other as if pulled together by some magnetic force. They hug and then kiss, knowing that although they're in different places, they're connected by something deeper and one day they'll be together.
