Really? I've had a few extractions & fillings, all under local anaesthetic, and at no time did the dentist measure my blood-pressure or listen to my heart or joints. And a stethoscope does the latter - listens. It does not measure blood-pressures.

I had a root canal on my back tooth that was supposed to be crowned, but i didn't get around to it, and because the tooth became brittle it broke ( a chunk actually came out of it). I had some gauze packed in the side of my mouth when I woke up from the surgery (had all four removed) and disolvable stiches over the gaps where the teeth were. I didn't bled all that much from my teeth (although had a nose bleed from where the breathing tube was removed too quickly from my nose and ripped the skin inside! I took the gauze out after a day though.
