What kind of help can you get with an emotionally depressed teen where do you seek help first?

Firstly, you need to talk to your teen and see if they think they can handle their problems themselves. If the can't or the depression symptoms continue or start to interfere with your teenager's everyday life you must speak with a doctor or a mental health professional. Make sure the doctor is able to treat adolescents. A family doctor or paediatrician is a good place to start. Or perhaps your school could recommend someone to you. If your teen is having suicidal thoughts, get help immediately. Call a suicide hotline or a doctor and get family members and friends for support and help. Good luck.

What does being Emo mean?

Being Emo is something impossible for anyone to do. Emo does not stand for "emotional". The original version of emo is short for "emotional hardcore", which is a sub-group of punk. No one can be music.

Most people mistake being Emo as doing self harm. This is not the case because this is a Depression issue and has nothing to do at all about being "Emo". There are plenty of other people (Unfortunately) that harm themselves and do not belong to this sub culture/group at all. -Sky Jenson

Most people play around these days and calling people emo for having black nails, or your bangs in front of your face, or wearing alot of black clothes. But truly that has nothing to do with being emo. (which the way i see it, it's every dumb to call someone emo for wearing black and\or having black nails). hope this helped

Can you sue the church for being isolated and made to feel unwelcome after rumours started that you had an affair with the vicar you are now suffering with depression due to the stress?

That is not a legitimate reason to sue somebody. I would sooner suggest moving away than try and go up against a church because if you think people despise you now just wait until other people get wind of it. They will most likely say something about how you are going against God or something stupid like that. Ask yourself what the reason was or the circumstances under which you were accused of this. Maybe try address the problem head on instead of hiding from everybody because hiding makes you look guilty. Then again if you did have an affair with the vicar, then you deserve the depression. And if those people there were ever truly your friends then they would sooner believe you than some rumour, unless, like previously mentioned, they have reason to believe the validity of the accusation.

BY THE WAY - YOU DO NOT SUFFER DEPRESSION FROM STRESS (in your case at least) YOU DEVELOP AN ANXIETY DISORDER.

Can narcissistic personality disorder NPD be mixed with Avoidant personality disorder AvPD?

Yes it can. I know from personal experience because my sister (13 months my junior) has both conditions. She is very high maintenance and I have finally decided to separate from her because I can stand the emotional battering no more. This is a recent decision and I am experiencing intense relief although deep sadness and loss. I also have a lot more time now. I entertain a lot and always had to host her and her husband on their own as she would refuse to visit if I had anyone else for a meal. As I was her only friend (her words) I was controlled by her accusations should she feel that I had not seen enough of her. I was also berated by her if she felt "second best" in my life, or that I had not kept in touch with her enough through texting or emailing or phoning. It is such a relief not to be criticised, accused, told what I am thinking, told what my motives are or to be constantly vigilant to attend to her extreme social discomforts and so on. I love her but can't cope with her anymore. To be more correct, I do not wish to contaminate my life and joy with her multitude of issues any longer. It really is very hard to get things just right for her. So glad I have chosen not to do it anymore. Relief is the word!!!
