Can stopping Depo-Provera cause cramps and diarrhea?

I would doubt it, since they give you a preg test before first shot, but no bc is 100%, so take test or see doc. In my experience with depo, the first two shots gave me the worst cramps I have ever had, with spotting and bleeding. I took the shot for a year, and even though its not part of your question, I do NOT recommend depo for anyone. It really messes you up, also they have published reports that it causes bone mass loss after two years of it. My gyn said she would've stopped the shot before two years.

Risk factors of diabetes include genetics and family history, pancreas diseases, infections in the body, illness, and obesity.

Can bad milk cause diarrhea?

Diarrhea makes you dehydrated very quickly. Soft drinks contain very high amounts of sugar, which also dehydrates you. So drinking them when you have diarrhea will only make you dehydrate even faster.

If you have diarrhea, you should hydrate with drinks designed for such a purpose, such as Gatorade. Water will also help, but it alone will not replace the electrolytes in your body, and you can actually die of a water overdose if you drink too much of it without consuming other nutrients.

What to do when you have diarrhea in a high school toilet?

Try taking Pepto Bismol or a generic, store brand anti-diarrhea medicine if you think you're going to have diarrhea. At school, if you do get diarrhea, keep in mind that everyone has it at some point. Anyone who laughs about it is just being immature, so ignore them. Or wait a few minutes inside the cubicle until they leave they bathroom. That is, if possible try to make sure the room is empty or nearly empty before you leave the cubicle. Also, keep a food diary to try to find out which foods cause your diarrhea. Milk products (includes cheese, yogurt) cause it for some people. If so, there are alternatives such as soy milk or Lactaid.

Good luck!

How do you get high on anti diarrhea pills?

From my experience, i did get high from it... but two days later i had to go to the bathroom.... it was a bowel movement from hell. It felt like acid was going through my bottom, and whenever you wipe it just burns more.... and you feel sick to the stomach. The green feces will barely come out, so you have to really push, like having a baby. If you want these consequences, yes you can get high off of diarrhea pills.

Does Dairy cream cause diarrhea?

I was unable to find the ingredients list for "non equals dairy creamer", but I have found that I get (ahem!)..."shooting diarrhea" from Coffee-Mate. I finally read about the ingredients, and the "dipotassium phosphate", used to prevent clumping (really...in liquid form??) can cause diarrhea. Coffee has an issue with promoting diarrhea in some consumers, due to stimulating a certain area of the gut. I have never had the issue with regular coffee, instant coffee, or French Press or other "strong" coffees of any brand, unless I have used Coffee-Mate.

Nestle, the maker of Coffee-Mate, also make "Natural Bliss"--with only milk, cream, sugar and "natural flavors"--only four ingredients, and all are pronounceable to readers of the English language. I have never had any problems with that product. In fact, often I make my own creamer with the same ingredients--there are recipes all over the web to do so.

What makes me wonder about Nestle is why they "need" the dipotassium phosphate to "prevent clumping" in one product but not the other. I personally think it is a cheap filler to help fill their bottles faster. Natural Bliss costs more, so that seems like a fair assessment to me--they add cheaper fillers to keep their costs down.

How do you get your bottom to quit hurting and burning after diarrhea?

It depends on the cause.

Excessive acid

A stinging anus can be caused by excessive acid being passed through your system from your stomach, which is probably causing the diarrhea. This could be caused by indigestion or bacterial infection.

Indigestion can be resolved by taking indigestion medication, which is available over the counter with no prescription.

If it is not indigestion, it may be caused by bacteria, hence food poisoning forcing your stomach to release too much acid. You can take a simple painkiller to ease the pain (do not take alcohol). You should also see a doctor who will prescribe antibiotics to kill the bacteria quickly, otherwise you may be suffering with it for up to 4 weeks or more.

Avoid eating too much fibre and too much "wet" fruit such as melons and apples. See below in 'General Advice' for recommended foods.

Tear or rip

A tear or rip in the skin around your anus can cause pain when you pass faeces.

These will heal naturally over time and require no medical attention. You should apply skin healing cream to the area to quicken the healing and always make sure you're completely clean after using the toilet (easier with moist wipes).

Rips or tears can be caused by rough anal intercourse, rough anal masturbation, stretching of the anus, constipation or giving birth.

Haemorrhoids

Also known as 'piles'. They are swellings that contain enlarged and swollen blood vessels in or around the anus. They can occur both inside and outside the anus. They are caused by prolonged straining when trying to empty your bowels.

This will usually settle after a few days. There are creams and ointments available over the counter at your pharmacy.

Stress

Yes, stress can cause diarrhea. The pain could be caused by excessive acid being produced as a result of your stress.

If you are stressed, take a breather from whatever is stressing you and eat healthily.

Diet

Poor diet, such as too much junk or greasy food, or too little fruit and vegetables, causes this too. Your body needs a balanced healthy diet to operate properly. The "salad" in your big mac is just mass-processed, chemical-grown leaves that have no real benefit to you. You need the real deal. Switch your diet.

Caffeine

Caffeine causes digestive complications by slowing or blocking your intestines. This causes bloating and build-ups of faeces. Over time the pressure builds so high it just literally "shoots" through the rest of your system, not giving our body enough time to absorb the nutrients. Cut back on caffeine, your body does not need it.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Or IBS. This is a condition which causes lack of control over your bowels. This lack of control can cause both tears and excessive acid. IBS is a medical condition that needs to be treated by a doctor via medication. If you already are diagnosed with IBS, see your doctor and explain you are in pain, s/he may change your medication.

General Advice

  • Avoid too much fibre. Fibre (such as nuts) help you pass faeces, which you are already doing too much of.
  • Eat bananas. Bananas contain plenty of electrolytes, which you lose a lot of during diarrhea, so you need to replace them as quick as you can. Bananas also contain a chemical called Pectin, which allows your intestines to soak up excessive liquid (aka acid). Bananas also contain probiotics, which is friendly bacteria, useful for killing bad bacteria.
  • Use a skin healing cream or ointment on your anus, apply it generously to the areas that hurt.
  • Use moist wipes. Sometimes excessive dry wiping causes irritation and rawness.
  • White rice and mashed potatoes. Plain. Eat some. Sounds boring but these starches help solidify your faeces.
  • Probiotic yoghurt. Dairy products are generally advised against during diarrhea because it can make it worse. However probiotic yoghurt can help. Try getting the "shots" that you take one-a-day, rather than a large pot.
  • Eat white meat (chicken). Not KFC. Do not fry. Just plain chicken. Best if it's steamed. This contains an easily digested source of protein.
  • Eat blueberries. These berries have been used as diarrhea medication by various cultures for hundreds of years. Modern science proves they work. Blueberries contain Tannin, a chemical that reduces inflammation, reduces anal mucus and helps reduce acid in your system.
  • Herbal tea also helps. Without milk. Green tea is the best, particularly peppermint or chamomile. These teas contain natural friendly chemicals that aid your digestion and helps remove toxins from your system and helps eliminate gas.
  • Cut back on gas-producing foods such as beans and sprouts. Gas worsens diarrhea by forcing your faeces to eject.
  • Drink plenty of fluids. Preferably water. Never glucose drinks. You loose a lot of water during diarrhea. Replacing this water allows your body to create more cells to fight off whatever is causing your issues.

If you are worried or in intense pain, you should always see a medical professional. You may be embarrassed but these medical professionals see these things every day, they are used to it and just want to help their patients.

Baked potato, make sure it is not too hot! Mash it up, skins and all, and give it to your dog plain. That worked well for our dog. Changing a dog's brand of food often can cause stomach problems. We then slowly began to incorperate a new dog food reccomended by our pet store, First Mate all natural dog food and have used it since, it has helped with our boxer's sensitive stomach, and smelly gas!
