I have the same issue with a Bosch SHE65 model dishwasher. The timer goes to zero and the unit beeps to signal end of cycle but will not turn off.

Ultimately, I must manually turn off the dishwasher.

Dishwasher appears to end cycle and is drained of water and hot.

Does anyone have the answer to this one?

You rinse a dish first because if it has something sticky in it or something like chocolate it can sometimes get completely stuck to the dish while its washing. ITs just like if you wash a t-shirt with a sticker on it.

If it doesn't drip and it's normal for it to start and slow down and such. Don't worry it's hard to mess up a dishwasher

Possibly unscrew your aerator at the end of the spout and see if the screen is clogged. Blow it out and rescrew the aerator on. If that isn't the problem, sometimes things get caught in the spout. Unscrew the spout and turn the water on. If there is water coming from there and not out the spout when it is hooked up, the spout is plugged. If no water coming out when the spout is off, rehook spout and change cartridges or stems in the faucet AFTER shutting the water off. Depends on the brand of faucet, check the instructions for the brand and model.

Also your kitchen dishwasher and sinks are run on seperate valves. The dishwasher valve is usually under the sinks (causing the water to go to the dishwasher first) the valve that was installed for the sink (before the dishwasher) may be bad too.

If you are talking about the bracket that mounts the dishwasher to the underside of the counter top to prevent it from "walking out", I have found that the EZ Bracket is the best answer. It is available at Stone Tool Distributors like Braxton-Bragg.

The thing that I like is that you can use it either before or after the counter top is in place and it works on Granite, Formica or other counter top materials. It is inexpensive and easy to use.

You do not have to drill into the granite, which is a relief.

If you can "freeze" the coil with ice cubes wrapped around it, you can chip most of the plastic off the heating element. A short, fairly sharp knife is the best tool for this, as it will allow you the most control of the edge of the tool. You can then apply a wire brush to the element, and with some willingness and elbow grease, you can finish the job. It will be tedious, but it can be done with patience and perseverance. A hint of the plastic might remain "out of reach" of the brush, and a couple of cycles might effect removal of that last little bit. But most of the work is yours to do. Remember that your approach here is a mechanical one, and not a chemical one. Also, make a quick call to or drop by at an appliance expert's place of business and just ask a quick question or two. You should be able to get some hints from these folks, as this is their business. 1) The flood switch has open circuited due to overload or mechanical failure.

2) The solenoid coil has open circuited or the solenoid plunger is stuck in the housing.

3) The wire screen filter in the solenoid assembly is totally clogged with debris.

4) The control circuit board has failed.

5) The isolation valve in the water line feeding the appliance is closed.

I've got this failure mode now ... and in my case ... the flood switch open circuited due to overload ... and as a result of the control circuit board failure.

S/B small Metal cover on front bottom right side. Simply open cover, be it snap off or small screw. Then use existing HARDWIRE (romex) and twis the black existing to the black on diswasher, the white twist to the white, and the green should have a green screw in the same area you opened at bottom right to secure. The green would be the ground for safety.

The best thing you could do would be call a plumber or the company that you bought your dishwasher from. That's about the best thing you could do for now.
