The Cummins motor is not a "Dodge". Dodge does use the "b" series Cummins engine in its pick up trucks. Ford does use the Cummins in its F650 and larger trucks.

NO, Ford never has used the Cummins Diesel as far as I know. Up until 2010 the Powerstroke was built by Navistar, formerly International Harvester. In 2010 Ford starting building the Powerstroke themselves but kept the name. Dodge uses the Cummins diesel and GM uses the Duramax which was designed jointly with isuzu.

Most of the time the pistons continue to travel up and down a few strokes but the valves are stuck in their last position. So, any valve that was open when the timing belt broke has a bent valve stem. If this is the case, you will probably find it cheaper to get an engine from a salvage yard, change the timing belt before you install it and go from there. Your engine is going to have to have a head work and probably some lower work as well as a new timing belt.

Under the dash ,above the hump and left of the glove box.you will have to remove the glove box to access the screws.

put a bolt in the hole and it wont spray out anymore

There should be a stud (not a bolt) threaded in to the head and the stud should have a thread sealant applied to the threads.

possible valve cover gasket is leaking onto bolt.

Use a tap and die set to do a rethread to the next size down.

The fuse is under the hood, marked rdo almost centered in fuse box.

by glow grid I am assuming you are thinking of glow plugs

without more information its quite difficult to give an accurate answer

Things to look at are-

individual glow plugs have failed, with some working and some aren't

all glow plugs have failed (due to faulty glow timer (stuck on))

all glow plugs are working (electrically) but aren't being used (faulty glow timer (stuck off))

other electrical problems causing above issues (short circuit wiring harness, open circuit wiring harness, faulty switches and/or relays)

other mechanical issues causing hard starts (low compression/worn rings/valves) or other mechanical issues that a mechanic rather than an auto sparky like me would know more about
