All Chrysler and GM small- and big-blocks number the same way; Left (driver's side) - 1-3-5-7, right side - 2-4-6-8, front to back. As far as firing order, they're all 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Keep in mind that Ford has a different numbering scheme and firing order.

A free diagram can be found in the cars maintenance manual. Some auto part stores may give a person a free printed diagram, as well.

the headlamp switch is an input to the instrument cluster. The cluster the sends the signal across the communication wires to the fcm (the computer on the side of the underhood fuse box). The fcm then turns the lights on.

A 2002 Ram truck does not have an expansion valve. The ac system uses an orifice tube that is made into the liquid line.

I just replaced the belt on my 06 and I had to take the tenisoner off to get the belt behind it, once I did that it was no problem.

There is an aftermarket tool "dipstick" that can be purchased online.

It rolls up and can be kept under seat. Around $50

the correct torque for these bolts is as follows: 96lbs

This my personal input. I have three Cummins power Dodge truck. 1991 with 340,00 miles. 1996 with 240,000 miles. 1998 24 valve with 170,000. and all are still going strong.

You must have a 10 mm 12 point box end wrench to take off the starter. 1 unhook the batteries. 2 disconnect the two wires from the starter. 3 remove the three 10 mm bolts from the starter. 4 you may need to tap the starer loose to pull it out.

If the right blinker is blinking really fast, it means that there is a turn signal bulb on the right side that is burned out. (coulod be either front or rear)

I believe 5. Except if you had your Oil Pan off. Then you may need 1 extra. Compare answers though. your local Auto Supply should have the answer, or try asking a Dodge Dealer.

This is hard to explan but I'll try. The engine should be at normal temperture. (1) Use an optical tachometer such as Snap on # MT139 or Cummins # 3377462 to read the engine rpm (2) Adjust to low idle speed at the low idle speed screw. The srew & locknut are located at the rear of the fuel injection pump. (Looking at the pump with someone you trust slowly pushing the gas pedal. The lever at the rear of the pump will rest on a set screw when the pedal is at idle position. This is the low idle set screw). Loosen the lock nut at the bottom of the screw and adjust to factory spec. From the factory manual with an automatic 750 to 800 RPM with the park brake lock, transmission in drive & air conditioning on. (Real partner TRUST is needed here). With manual trans. 780 RPM park brake set, in neutral & air condition on.
