Will a cat turn into a dog if it eats dog food?
That is a very bad idea. It's okay to occasionally feed your cat table food, as a treat, but table food should never, ever constitute the cat's entire diet. It simply does not have the complete range of nutrients that cats need. If you continue to do this, your cat will surely have many health problems later on down the road, and will not live to a ripe old age. Cats need real cat food, period.
However, the cat food that is sold in most supermarkets is not much better than table food. In fact, it is worse. Most supermarket brands -- such as Purina, Friskies, Whiskas, Fancy Feast, Tender Vittles, etc., etc. -- are made with extremely low-quality "meat." It is actually really disgusting. These brands are made with all the leftover animal parts, including ground-up chicken beaks and feet, cow eyeballs, intestines, and something called "Animal Digest." Animal digest is essentially a mishmash of leftover parts; it can include rats, roadkill animals, and animals that were euthanized at animal shelters -- including dogs and cats. That's right, cats. These brands also include something called "ash," which is burnt animal remains. It is absolutely revolting.
Luckily, there are better foods available, made with high-quality meat that is fit for human consumption. They are more expensive than supermarket brands -- up to $2 a can -- but they will keep your cat healthy, and will add years to his life. It is well worth the money to keep your beloved pet healthy and happy. And in fact, you will most likely save money in the long run: since better cat food means a healthier cat, you will save hundreds, even thousands of dollars on veterinary bills.
High-quality cat food brands are sold at most pet stores, including Petco, Pet Stop, and petnetdirect.com. Some high-quality brand names include: Innova/Evo, Weruva, Max Cat, PetGuard, California Natural, Instinct, Prairie, Natural Balance, Solid Gold, Merrick, Wellness, Eagle Pack, Newman's Own, WYSONG, Precise, etc., etc.
If you really cannot afford to buy this food for your cats, then Iams brand is an acceptable second-choice. Iams is a supermarket brand, but it is of a higher quality than most supermarket brands. It's not as good as Innova/Evo, Weruva, Max Cat, etc., etc., but it is better than the other supermarket brands.
Also, although it is not strictly necessary, it is a good idea to feed your cat both wet and dry food. Wet food is more fatty than dry food, so a diet consisting of nothing but wet food can potentially cause weight problems. But more importantly, dry food helps scrape plaque off of the cat's teeth, giving him healthier teeth and gums, and better-smelling breath. My personal favorite dry food brand is Innova/Evo: most cats love it, and it makes their coat super-shiny and soft.
Also, although it is not strictly necessary, it's a good idea to give your cat some variety with his diet. Having variety in your diet is good for humans, and for cats too. Also, sometimes cats get bored eating the same thing every day. Whenever I go to Pet Stop to buy cat food, I always buy a few different flavors of each different brand, so as to give them as much variety as possible. My cats get a different wet food every night, and during the day they get Innova/Evo dry food.
Why is it called getting your dog fixed if it doesn't work anymore?

How much do you feed your 8 week old pit bull?
At 8 weeks old, a pit bull puppy should be fed around 3-4 times a day with a high-quality puppy food. The amount will vary based on the specific food you are feeding and the puppy's size, but a general guideline is about 1/2 to 1 cup of food per feeding. Always consult with your veterinarian for personalized feeding recommendations.
they can make babies out of stuffed ducks
Funny as this is and having had more than a few dogs, I can fully see what is meant. However, pets are a huge responsibility and a life-time commitment. At least for the life of the animal. That being said, dogs in particular are important to different people for many different reasons. For instance, Visually impared use them to see where they cannot. Dogs are specially trained to do the functions that the human cannot. Such as open a modified door for the person, or direct them to the modified door so that they can do it themselves. Dogs have a very keen sense of smell and are very useful in the police force too. They help the police in many ways, from drug location to search and recovery of people. Now that is a few ways that dogs are useful to humans. Dogs are great companions as well. Other animals are too, but dogs well they are different, intelligent...yes even the ones that you think are really dumb...they are not! They are just letting you think that because they are in control...but that is another subject. Dogs have been part of the human existence as companions, assistants and all around good friend since pre-historic times. Basically, we need them as much as they need us.

What two color of pit bulls create a litter of blue pit-bulls?
Well, there has to be a dilute gene in the lines.
Two solid black, brown, red, white, whatever color, cannot produce blue puppies.
Solid blacks that carry a dilute gene can, seals, I think can too.
You will not get blue pups from brown dogs, even if they do have dilute genes; they will create a color similar to the doberman's fawn dog.
Learn genetics; it is very important in dog breeding.
Yes dogs can eat cats and if not eat them hurt them like chewing on them but you can train a dog not to eat cats.
I have a shtzu X, and she loves cats, but doesn't know how to play gently with them . I have to keep telling her, it's a baby, be gentle. If your dog doesn't go after cats, just don't let them play unsupervised, and keep petting the kitten and saying " IT's a BABY! , be gentle."
It's common for adult dogs to groom kittens like they would their own puppies. This behavior can sometimes escalate if the adult dog sees the kitten as a toy or prey. It's important to supervise their interactions closely and intervene if the dog's behavior becomes too rough or aggressive.
What kind of dog kills the most people?
There aren't good statistics on this - relatively few people in the United States are actually killed by a dog attack, and data from countries with more feral dogs (such as Mexico and China) is hard to come by.
However, the "kind" of dog that kills tends to be an abused animal that has learned to fight for survival and doesn't trust humans. This animal may also be infected with rabies and in the final stages of dying from it.
