How do you deal with a high energy dog?
Exercise!! This dog needs to use that energy up to be healthy and happy. Take it on long walks and runs. Teach it to walk on the tread mill if you have one. A lot of dogs in the big cities use one. Play ball, frisby or whatever it takes.
What age do you potty train pit bull puppies?
You should start training your puppy to potty train as soon as you can. Take the dog out a lot and praise them and give them treats whenever they go to the bathroom outside. If you catch the dog peeing inside say no sternly and take them outside. Leave them out there for a while so they get that they are supposed to go to the bathroom when they are outside. Praise them when they do go to the bathroom outside.
Why does your dog bite your hand when being silly?
Sometimes dogs will bite gently when feeling playful to try and get the person they are biting to pay attention to them and come play with them.
Another answer
Don't ever let your dog bite your hand, even if it is just a play bite. It gets to be a bad habit. It is one thing to see a cute puppy play biting at your hand but another when that same puppy has grown into a large dog and is still biting your hand. I do not allow any of my dogs to ever do play biting with me. I just say no firmly and push them away firmly. Let them bite on nylabone or other toys but no on you.

When the dog is being silly (i.e. playing) it bites your hand because, It routinely uses its mouth to 'handle' things. The dog has no hands, so it cannot ask you to come and play. The use of the dog's mouth to 'engage' you is the only method that the dog has been given (other than barking loudly and continuously). When the mother dog wants to move her pups, she doesn't use her paws, and she doesn't just stand there and bark at them she uses her mouth to pick up the pups by the scruff. That is why the dog uses its mouth (i.e. 'bites' gently). Because it is the part of your body, closest to the dog, that it can get its mouth onto. As far as dire warnings to not ever let your dog bite your hand, even if it is just play biting, if your dog is actually trained to stop 'biting' on command, you may be able to allow this. But if you can't take the occasional skin puncture and the minor bleeding that goes with it, then don't allow your dog to do that. Again, if you take the time to train your dog to stop biting on command, and if you can withstand the occasional 'over-bite' (i.e. minor skin punctures) then proceed cautiously. Otherwise, do as the Vet said, and don't allow it ever.
How do you prevent your dog jumping on the sofa?
There are several ways that I can think of off the top of my head:
1. whenever he/she jumps on the sofa, say "no!" firmly, pull him off the sofa and tell him to lay and stay there.
2. The same thing as #1 ,but when you catch him doing it, spray him in the face with water to.
ps: It may take a short while before a dog learns this
side note: never beat a dog for what he did wrong
another side note: never punish a dog after he is done doing some thing wrong, because he will think that you are punishind him for what he is doing now.
How can you stop dog biting out tail?
If your dog won't stop biting its tail, you can try a few different things. First, examine the tail to see if there is something wrong with it, such as a flea bite or other irritant/injury, that could possibly be causing your dog to bite the area. If there is a flea bite, treat your dog and home for fleas, including a flea prevention product. Most dogs will stop biting at fleas at this point, however some dogs are allergic to fleas and continue to itch or bite the area. Two of my dogs have flea allergy dermaitis and I have had success using a hydocortisone spray from petco w/ aloe vera. If your dog's tail is not injured aside from the dog's biting, then it is a behavioral problem. Make sure your dog gets at least 30-45 minutes of walking and 15-30 minutes of playtime each day. Then he ought to be too tired to bite his tail. If he still bites his tail, sit in front of him with a really yummy treat and dangle it in the air til he stops biting his tail. Then give him a piece of the treat. It should be yummy enough that he doesn't go back to biting his tail but instead fixates on you. Praise him and treat him for not biting his tail and if possible teach him an accepted behavior such as sit or down. then when he is biting his tail, get the treat and ask for the new accepted behavior i. e. Sit. Do this 1-2 times every day, for 5 min, for a least 21 days. Eventually, you won't need the treat and he will stop biting and just sit. Good luck!
Do you want your dog to stop on command or stop barking? It is unclear in your question. Regardless of the behavior you want your dog to gain, there is a wide array of helpful information available on the internet, including contact details for many, many dog trainers.
This is a nonsense question.
Either invest in a smaller crate, or block off a part of a larger crate to make the dogs space smaller. The dog will start the think of the crate as is bedroom, and it won't want to go to the bathroom in its bedroom. If there is room for the dog to go to the bathroom and then lay in another area where it can stay away from the feces, the crate is too big. Dogs do not want to lay in their own feces, so a small crate would help to curb this habit.

Why does your puppy eat from your hand but not from her bowl?
Sometimes, a particularly young or new puppy who's lost or been separated from it's mother too soon will look to you as it's protector and surrogate parent.
In those cases, it might prefer to take food from you directly, because it knows it's safe... Safe, both in terms of being wholesome food, but also safe from other animals that might come and try to take the food.
If you don't have other animals who might push the pup from the bowl, then you can teach the pup that the bowl is safe by sitting on the ground with her while she eats, feeding her from your hand, but slowly moving your hand toward the bowl, and so on.
If you do have other animals who might take the food, it's best to feed her in a safe area until she's big enough to fend for herself.

Is there a dog training college where you can learn to train dogs and become a dog trianer?

Your dog needs socialization training to be able to get along with other dogs and humans. Well, of course except burglars. :)
In socialization training, the dog's behavior problems like fear, timidness, dominance, and aggression may be corrected.

What can you do to keep a dog from digging or biting a hotspot?
A hot spot is a nick name for Pyotraumatic dermatitis and consist of a bacterial infection normally Staphylococcus intermedius which develops and spreads quickly. We call it a hot spot considering when humans touch the wound, it is warm. A hot spot is a painful thing for a dog and it can/will emit pus and begin to smell badly (because the first layer of skin is sorta decomposing; if left untreated). a hot spot is really irritating to dogs. They will bite and scratch at it, try to prevent your dog from doing this by watching them closely and or "keeps an eye on them". If they keep biting and scratching at the infected area this is now spreading the infection further. I would take your dog to the vets to seek some medical help or have your vet prescribe to your a lotion or medication for your pet to help them fight against the bacterial infection.
