Your dog is being territorial of you and the bed. Your husband is not his favorite person and he does not want your husband messing with "his" stuff, AKA you and the bed. To solve this problem the dog needs to see that you and your husband own him and he does not own you or the bed. You need to buy a dog crate. Make it as comfortable as possible and show your dog that it is his by playing with him and giving him treats inside of the crate. Teach your dog that going into the crate is a treat and not a punishment. As soon as you make the crate a bad thing then it will ruin the system. Don't lock your dog in the crate. Once he is having fun inside of the crate put him in it and close the door but don't lock it. Give him a treat through the door and then let him out. Make this a new game. He goes in the crate, you shut the door, he gets a treat, and then he comes out. once he is used to it, make another game. He goes in the crate, you shut and lock the door, you walk out of the room and once you are out of sight then walk right back in to the room, he gets a treat, and then he comes out. From that point on extend the time that you stay out of sight until he can stay in the crate for several hours. Get your husband to work him him too, it will help their relationship. Once your dog is crate trained, then he needs to sleep in the crate at night and not in your bed. You may not want to do this but, he will feel more comfortable, you will feel more comfortable, and your husband will be a lot happier. By giving your dog a place of his own you put security into his life. Your husband is never going to try to get into your dog's new territory so he can rest at ease and feel a lot more comfortable around your husband and around the house. The location of the crate is your choice, if you want it can be in your room. Make sure that the first thing you do in the morning is open the crate door and let him come out. My dog is crate trained and if I leave the crate door open then he will return to his crate during the day to sleep or hang out. He knows that it is his spot and he feels comfortable there. I have had 7 dogs throughout my life and each time I have let the puppy out the first day i get him in my garden but stayed close by at all times. However if the puppy is very young i would only let it out about a fortnight after getting him, incase he gets cold or scared.

Try poking it gently but firmly in the side of the neck (to get its attention) while making a shushing noise into its ear. This will have to be repeated many times before it works. When it is quiet for a moment, reward it with a treat or praise. Positive reinforcement is the best learning tool for dogs.

the best method thats seems to work with mine is: hold the object you want you dog to learn, for example: if you want your dog to know what TOY means, hold a toy, get the dogs attention, say "toy" then hold the toy out to your dog. your dog should sniff the object your offering to him/her. while he/she is sniffing the toy tell the dog what it is, say "toy". then stand straight and hold the toy away from the dog, say "toy" again and then throw it, saying "go get the toy" do this every single day for about a week and then tell your dog "Go get the toy. Toy. Toy. go get the toy." your dog should go get the toy. if you want him to learn a word like a command, sit, lay down, speak, then you have to show the dog what sit means and then reward him/her. for example say "sit" then force the dog into a sitting position, then praise your dog, even tho u did it for him/her.

Exercise!! This dog needs to use that energy up to be healthy and happy. Take it on long walks and runs. Teach it to walk on the tread mill if you have one. A lot of dogs in the big cities use one. Play ball, frisby or whatever it takes.

You should start training your puppy to potty train as soon as you can. Take the dog out a lot and praise them and give them treats whenever they go to the bathroom outside. If you catch the dog peeing inside say no sternly and take them outside. Leave them out there for a while so they get that they are supposed to go to the bathroom when they are outside. Praise them when they do go to the bathroom outside.

1. whenever he/she jumps on the sofa, say "no!" firmly, pull him off the sofa and tell him to lay and stay there.

2. The same thing as #1 ,but when you catch him doing it, spray him in the face with water to.

If your dog won't stop biting its tail, you can try a few different things. First, examine the tail to see if there is something wrong with it, such as a flea bite or other irritant/injury, that could possibly be causing your dog to bite the area. If there is a flea bite, treat your dog and home for fleas, including a flea prevention product. Most dogs will stop biting at fleas at this point, however some dogs are allergic to fleas and continue to itch or bite the area. Two of my dogs have flea allergy dermaitis and I have had success using a hydocortisone spray from petco w/ aloe vera. If your dog's tail is not injured aside from the dog's biting, then it is a behavioral problem. Make sure your dog gets at least 30-45 minutes of walking and 15-30 minutes of playtime each day. Then he ought to be too tired to bite his tail. If he still bites his tail, sit in front of him with a really yummy treat and dangle it in the air til he stops biting his tail. Then give him a piece of the treat. It should be yummy enough that he doesn't go back to biting his tail but instead fixates on you. Praise him and treat him for not biting his tail and if possible teach him an accepted behavior such as sit or down. then when he is biting his tail, get the treat and ask for the new accepted behavior i. e. Sit. Do this 1-2 times every day, for 5 min, for a least 21 days. Eventually, you won't need the treat and he will stop biting and just sit. Good luck!

This is a nonsense question.

Either invest in a smaller crate, or block off a part of a larger crate to make the dogs space smaller. The dog will start the think of the crate as is bedroom, and it won't want to go to the bathroom in its bedroom. If there is room for the dog to go to the bathroom and then lay in another area where it can stay away from the feces, the crate is too big. Dogs do not want to lay in their own feces, so a small crate would help to curb this habit.

No i dont think so because i live with my cat and she only goes to the toilet outside. i have never noticed her to go for a wee more than usual in the heat.

if your cat is weeing alot in the heat you might want to go and see your VET :)

In those cases, it might prefer to take food from you directly, because it knows it's safe... Safe, both in terms of being wholesome food, but also safe from other animals that might come and try to take the food.

If you don't have other animals who might push the pup from the bowl, then you can teach the pup that the bowl is safe by sitting on the ground with her while she eats, feeding her from your hand, but slowly moving your hand toward the bowl, and so on.

If you do have other animals who might take the food, it's best to feed her in a safe area until she's big enough to fend for herself.
